Will Campbell To Jets!!
Congrats to Big Will!
Previous Pick: Round: 6 Pick: 10 (178 overall)
Beat me by a few seconds. Round 6, 178 overall.
Congrats to Big Will, and the Jets. They got a hardworking lineman. I expect we'll see much more from him in the future.
Yeah because no one ever matures as they get older.

BWC + David Harris? Damn.
A big congrats to Big Will. Hope he sees more sucess in the NFL than he did at UM.
Should be interesting. Kid has some talent, and the Jets definitely need help on the line considering they released a DT and have some other question marks.
Not really, Jets are totally stacked on DL, especially after taking Sheldon Richardson at 13, which was a total surprise because of so many holes in other areas. Seems like Rex really wanted to fortify the trenches on both sides and will be lining up 4 or more on the defensive line.
I don't really get this pick given the needs at OLB, FS, and WR, but I'm thrilled to have another Wolverine on the team and hope Big Will continues the effort and progress he made his senior year.
I definitely don't buy the NFL Network commentator's belief that he'll be switched to OL. We tried that experiment and it never came close to working.
And they pick a FB in a 7th... wow, as a Jets fan I have no idea what to say. If I am Roundtree and Kovac, Jets would definitely be the place I would head to as an undrafted free agent.
There are reports that the Jets drafted Campbell as an OG.
The Jets drafted Campbell with the intention of using him at guard.

It didn't work too well at U of M.
It's official, Campbell will be listed as an offensive lineman from the #Jets.

Campbell said three teams brought him in for private workouts. One of them was at DT, two were at G. #nyj #jets

This guy is the Jets beat writer for the Star-Ledger.
But that's what they were talking about on NFL network after he was picked.
I was having trouble following the draft and watching the last couple innings of both the Tigers and Michigan Softball in hard-fought wins for both teams. MGoBlog is, without a doubt, my go-to source for all up-to-the-minute must-have U of M sports updates!!!
That sucks...

I hate the Jets and I'm not even a Giants fan.
EIther way, I'm happy to see him get drafted as well.
That's why. Not that the Jets are any better, but still...
I wonder if Kovacs would have a better chance of making it in the NFL if he were to go undrafted. Then he could choose the best situation for himself.
On the other hand, going from walk-on the NFL draftee would be damn awesome.
will be an interesting experiment. I guess he's got the frame for it, but he's probably a high schooler in terms of offensive line skills. I hope the Jets make it work
I am hopeful Will does well. maybe Rex has some new techniques for him
Win.
Switching to the OL for the Jets? Sounds like just another easy day for BWC...
drafted before kenjon barner, rex burkhead and bacari rambo? color me shocked but best of luck to him
Best of luck to you in NY!
I remember in high school a lot of scouts were saying he had much more potential at OLine rather than DLine. Really hope it works out for him.
Just End The Season!
So say the suffering Jets fans.
Good luck to BWC. He is going to need it being on that circus of a team.
Congrats to BWC. Hope the potential we all know he has can be fully realized. Would've loved to have him back this year.
