Where (0r) Are You Watching Tomorrow's Game?

Submitted by xtramelanin on March 11th, 2021 at 10:15 PM

Mates,

As 99.99% of you know, tomorrow's game is at 1130 hrs.  Normally I'd be at work.  No TV at work, the best I can do is 'gamecast' (thank you ESPN).  I am torn. Watch that first game somewhere or monitor via gamecast.

Are you making plans to watch the game tomorrow?   If so, where are you watching it?  Sneaking away at work, staying home, holed up in a bar?

Go Blue, let's have a great game tomorrow!

I can’t believe Marcus Aurelius came back from the dead just to go to John Bacon’s roast. I would’ve thought securing the border with Germania and establishing another couple decades of Pax Romana would’ve taken priority.

Maybe he’s also here to learn from Harbaugh how his Praetorian Guard can get better pad level out in the field.

Working from home ‘til at least September, maybe permanently. So watching the game in my home office.

This will be the biggest test of my work from home productivity since last March.  No meetings, a Friday before a 3 day weekend, M hoops at 1130, beautiful weather.  I expect to not get anything done.  ?‍♂️

Working a half day tomorrow, so in the words of Jamie Morris, I will be watching in ‘my big a$$ basement’. I wish I had some Michigan fans to come join me - so I will be on the game thread trying to cheer up bluegary and ham when we go down by 2 points in the first 5 minutes.

I work from home.  The game starts at 11:30, and so does my 1:1 w/my supervisor.  I’ll probably play less attention to him than my usual meager amount of attention.

?

in reality, I’ll tell him about the game and we’ll most likely add that to the things we talk about.

I mean, I'm usually watching television from my recliner at 10:30 Friday morning anyways. CEO gives his weekly "state of the company" address at 9am on Fridays, and no one really does any work the rest of the day.

Hope to be home from the wife’s colonoscopy from Mich Medicine at about tip time. She can watch upstairs and make post procedure noises by her lonesome.

After arriving home from a recent colonoscopy, I curled up on the couch and apparently asked my son if he wanted to go ice skating (we haven't skated in over 10+ years, and temperatures were hovering near 50 degrees without any frozen surfaces in sight).  Then I drifted into a blissful sleep with an ultra clean colon.

I hope your wife has a worry-free experience and can enjoy the Michigan game in a similar post-procedure dream world.

Me and my boss will be making a few visits to customers.....I'm sure we'll be able to fit in a power lunch at a restaurant with a nice TV from 11:30 to 2ish.

I know this is a pipe dream, but I'm recording the game and will watch it with my wife when she gets home from work.   A heaping pile of nachos is planned.

Three complicating factors are in play, though:

1.  I  check MGoBlog at least 5-10 times per day.  It's my usual lunch time treat.  Can I break that habit tomorrow?  Chances are good that I'll instinctively and accidentally click on MGoBlog and ruin my best laid plans.

2.  Some friend - usually MSU-leaning friends - will inevitably text me during or after the game, especially if we are struggling or lose.

3.  My Dad will probably email me immediately after the game, usually with an email subject that emphatically declares the game's outcome.

Blimp.

I will be on the Goodyear blimp tomorrow flying over the action. Should be a great view. No obstructions. X-ray vision should come in handy.

Flies only stretch we dropped in at the green cottage and drifted to Gleason Landing. Three boats nine guys.

I was using egg sucking leach and landed two beautiful Browns and one Steelhead.  Chuck and duck.

Riverside grill for lunch fishing with some Dewars made for a great day.  River was high so no site fishing.  Frozen cold at days end.

Just settling into Barothy Lodge.
