Way OT: Favorite Fast Food
The criteria is...if you could only eat at one fast food place for the rest of your life, which would it be?
My top 5...
1.) McDonalds - menu variety, great breakfast, healthy options
2.) Wendy's - I am addicted to the Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe, and find the Frosty fascinating
3.) Jimmy John's - I like their subs far and away more than any other chain (although Potbelly is also good).
4.) Taco Bell - would probably rank higher if not for the lack of a diverse menu. Why can't they add a darn breakfast burrito?
5.) KFC - One word...Sides!
Okay everyone...help me broaden my horizons!!!
As of late it's been Taco Bell and Quiznos.. Though Wendy's is always a favorite as McDonalds has fallen out of my favor.
Never tried KFC personally. Good choice?
Youve never been to KFC? Dude, youve got to grab a bucket. Theyve got great chicken sandwiches that blow any other out of the water.
For real chicken it's all about Bojangles. For the true chicken sandwich it's Chick-fil-a.
Sounds like a Carolina boy. Also, Chick-fil-a = the mmmmm.

Perfect for the 3 am drunk munchies
Are you the person standing in the middle of your avatar?
as soon as I posted that how long it would take someone to ask that...the post almost begs the question!
I am not the girl in the picture (I just find that picture awesome on many levels)...
I am approximately 5'8'' and 135 lbs, so way on the opposite end of the spectrum. I am also reading a Michigan football blog, so I clearly have a penis.
>>I am also reading a Michigan football blog, so I clearly have a penis.
Sparty/Bucknuts/Nits/Domers come by here sometimes, thereby disproving your conclusion.
I've seen all week!
+1
Awesome.
They do have penises. They are just inverted.
Because I about shit myself laughing after I read the post and looked at the pic.
lulz
So... Did you wipe standing up or sitting down?
but it was still silky smooth.
Didn't a poster post this a couple days ago claiming that it was her and her sorority?
I have had this avatar for a long time, and I haven't seen anyone else using it.
It was a joke, because someone said my reply to attractive women's attire was worthless without a picture, so I used basic MS Paint and wrote Michigan instead of Steelers or whatever.
And proceeded to get negged for it, but ok.
It'd be hard to get THAT fat on fast food... way too expensive. That person probably works for Sam's club and gets deep discounts on XXL bags of pork rinds.
I laughed my ass off when I read that. Good question.
1. Popeye's - blows KFC out of the water
2. McDonald's
3. Quizno's
4. Pizza Hut - grease-soaked crust
5. Subway

are the best
It's semi-fast food, but a Culver's Bacon Butterburger Deluxe Basket is pretty fantastic. They've got a "drive through" so it counts.
KFC original recipe is also way up there.
just opened up by my house, and I have been meaning to try it....perhaps this will be my inspiration.
The one on the East Beltline? If so, we probably live dangerously close to eachother.
I am near Breton / Hall in EGR, so not too far from there.
I'm a little northeast of the Breton/Burton intersection...
Anyway, yeah, that Culver's is great. I always tell myself I'm going to try one of the Concrete Mixer shakes, but I've never had room for one after a butterburger.
I just tried the Culver's on 28th St. in Cascade by my office - unreal burger.
You know a burger is good when there's a pool of grease on the wax paper that lines a plastic basket, chosen for its resistance to soaking up said grease. The wavy fries are fantastic too.
Agreed - I have heard that their chicken is good. I haven't had it yet.
the crispy chicken sandwich is friggin awesome, w/ cheese curds and onion rings
Thank you sir. I am going to try it.
In-N-Out and any dirty mexican food stand in San Diego

if it meant they would open an In-N-Out burger in Ann Arbor.
??? Why? A few kids from out West said they loved In N Out, and I have a friend that moved to LA that's pretty much addicted to it. I've never actually heard something bad about INO
He's saying he would do almost anything to get an In-N-Out. Including punch a toddler in the face.
At least that's the way I read it.
I'd puree/dice/chop/blend a kitten to get them to open a Sonic by me.
1.) Chick-fil-A
2.) Qdoba
3.) Subway
4.) McDonald's
5.) Culver's
on Chick-fil-A.
Does Five Guys burgers count as fast food? No drive thru, but they do serve burgers and fries which is a de facto qualification. Truly awesome burgers. Don't know if there are any in Michigan or not. They have made it to Indianapolis and originated in the DC/Virginia area.
I haven't seen any Five Guys in Michigan. The wife is from South Carolina so I am obsessive with Chick-fil-A when we go down there. It sucks that Michigan doesn't have Chick-fil-A. I looked into franchising one here in GR and they are freaking expensive and intense to operate. You have to go through Chick-fil-A University or something insane.
There's one down Telegraph on 12 mile in Southfield... I just discovered it on the way to Ann Arbor, it's amazing. You can always google "five guys" and your city to find the closest ones. This works for me whenever I see a Sonic commercial and am disappointed when there's like 2 in Michigan and none near where I live...
Sonic must be a taste I have not acquired. Living in the south, I vomit in my mouth when I even smell it.
As soon as I saw the title to this forum I thought of Chick Fil A and 5 Guys. While 5 guys isn't a typical "fast food" place, I would definitely put them at a place between "fast food" and "sit down" restaurant.
I think there's one on the Oakland University campus, if i'm not mistaken.
I don't understand why Jimmy John's is do popular. Yeah, it's better than Subway, but that's not saying much. It's so ordinary...and they use way too much lettuce.
for "easy lettuce"
I used to work at one and it wasn't uncommon for customers to ask for it.
Jimmy Johns is good, but it's only a sandwich. I definitely wouldn't put it on my top 5 list as I'd be bored inside the first week.
In n Out burger, on other hand, never gets old.
1. Sonic / Double cheese burger with bacon
2. Culvers / Bacon Butterburger basket is excellent
3. Chick Fil A / Best chicken sandwiches anywhere
4. Wendy's / Great Burgers, ok fries
5. McDonald's / No red meat from there, only fries and nuggets, best fries around
with the fries assessment. Wendy's kinda suck, and McDonald's are the best.
I never really got the Chik Fil A thing...I have had it a bunch of times down south, and was not impressed. Perhaps it needs to grow on you.
