30 Rock is like Entourage, there's only two funny characters and when they're not in the scene it's lame.

Beat me to it.

Captain Coner. Has a nice ring to it. Good for him.

That's sad.

That's sad.

Re: the screen option

As long as its not a forward pass the o-line can block up field, correct?

Also, I like how the nearside WR (Mathews?) sucks in the corner and then goes for the block.

He was going for it. Arms extended, adjusting to the ball. May have been an int if the receiver hadn't shoved him to the ground.

Yeah, that was truly pathetic. They could have squeezed at the very least three more plays out of that drive.

Not a tough guy, just having a little fun

Agree to disagree.

My viewpoint: M plays 12 to 13 games a year. All year long I follow this team for 12 or 13 days. I want all 12 or 13 of those games to be great. I hate blowouts and "lesser" opponents. I follow this team for days like 9/13/09. And as M gets better, I hope their opponents get better, so every game is a great game. That's all.

Yes. And I believe AT&T uses

Yes. And I believe AT&T uses CDMA technology for their 3G.

Anyway, if anyone is wondering why AT&T has more and "better" phones it's because 80%+ of the world's population uses GSM phones. From what I understand CDMA is really only used in the U.S., Japan and South Korea (not sure about Canada and Mexico). If you plan on traveling to Europe, Asia or India, get yourself an AT&T.

So you enjoy lame, puss-ball

So you enjoy lame, puss-ball out of conference games and three to four challenging Big Ten games every year? I don't believe it. You're better than that, man.

What do you think of the Connecticut home and home?

So they don't use the same

So they don't use the same towers?

In Northwest Ohio

Are you sure? I've read CDMA is superior to GSM.

Regardless, AT&T and T-Mobile are, IME, terrible when it comes to dropped calls/call quality, and Verizon is great. This is the only reason I haven't bought an iphone. Also, I believe Sprint and Nextel merged a while back.

I'd be comfortable with

I'd be comfortable with Moosman calling out protections, etc., but in your epinion (and everyone) is he quick enough to get the job done? If so, then I'm going with option B. If not, then I guess I'd take option C.

Can you tell me

What are the responsibilities of the center (other than blocking) in RR's system? Also, how do the blocking techniques/requirements differ from center to guard in their system?

You're probably half joking but

We have to play ND every year for another 20 years. You don't want them to be great again? You don't want the rivalry to be great again? I just don't get this point of view. Everyone bitches and moans that M never plays a home and home with anyone worth a shit. Well, ND is our home and home, at least for the next 20 years. They get top notch talent every year, but their coaching has held them back for the last decade or so. All they need is a good coach and they should be a top 25 team every year. M v ND was one of the great rivalries in college football and a huge game every year because both teams were consistently great. That's what I want, even if it means we have to face a tough competition.

I want Tate and Denard on the

I want Tate and Denard on the field at the same time. Move Denard somewhere (or everywhere) and move Devin to the #2 spot. Hopefully Tate stays healthy and Devin doesn't get to see the field. But I don't see RR redshirting him if he's that good. I think RR wants his best players to contribute, I think he want's his #2 QB to have game experience, and he seems to like to mix it up with the QB's.

So you just watched him from

So you just watched him from afar? That's even creepier.

Take it easy man.

Take it easy man.

Ah, so you were correct. My

Ah, so you were correct. My apologies. Maybe Mitch was just writing figuratively.

You seem to have some serious

You seem to have some serious anger issues, Brodie. I have invested as much time and emotion in M football as the next guy, but we're posting on a blog about kids running around with a ball.

Unless that was sarcasm and I missed it.

You blew it on this one guy.

You blew it on this one guy. We understand if you want to delete this account and create a new one.

Dude, you know you're going

Dude, you know you're going to have a hundred creepy guys wondering through the parking lot looking for your tailgate now.

Wait

Did you mean Omameh has been practicing mostly at LT?

My bad, I'm getting my L's

My bad, I'm getting my L's and R's crossed.

Say what you want about male

Say what you want about male cheerleaders, but I wouldn't pick a fight with those two. Plus they get front row seats to all the games, and they're grabbing snatch all day. They probably bang all the female cheerleaders, or at least the one's with low self esteem. Seems like an okay gig to me.

They moved Huge to RG and put

They moved Huge to RG and put Dorrestein at RT? Maybe the battle between Huyge and Omameh wasn't that close after all. Unless they moved Omameh to the left side and I missed it. I guess it would make sense to get him used to the left side if they have high expectations, since they're going to need a LT next year.

I seen it too!

I seen it too!

Totally understand your point but

MSU got beat my Central last week (we know Central is no pushover, but to the rest of the nation they're just a shitty MAC team). If MSU goes on to do well in the Big Ten this year that might even be a bad thing, as far as public perception goes. If it hadn't been for that loss I might have a different take on things. But the Big 10 is M, OSU and PSU. Some teams will have good years here and there, but lets not pretend MSU is on it's way to becoming a perennial NC contender, or making regular appearances in BCS bowls.

Besides, when I said "we" I meant Michigan. M needs ND to be good (as long as we beat them) because it will give "us" (Michigan) more credibility. The knock on OSU is that they cruise through the Big 10 because it's a shitty conference, and then proceed to get stomped by teams in other conferences (although they did put up a good fight against Texas and USC).

Other than the two dudes

All of them.

wouldn't that put too many

wouldn't that put too many men down field? They are run blocking.

Dude, he's hot and sweaty.

Dude, he's hot and sweaty. His balls are clearly sticking to his leg. Sometimes actually pinching the sack (being careful not to grab any ball) and pulling is the best method. Either that or he prefers ball sweat over saliva to wet his fingers.

Edit: don't football players wear cups anymore?

Didn't Carson Butler slap

Didn't Carson Butler slap someone in the head last year and not get flagged (or did he)? I guess he didn't get suspended either, just benched. But that's almost the same thing.

We play ND every year until

We play ND every year until 2031. I 'll be almost 50 when that contract expires. M-ND was once one of the biggest rivalries in college football. I want ND to be a power house again. I want that to be one of the biggest games of the season every year, with the whole nation watching. Most people outside of the Big Ten don't care about M vs MSU. M-MSU will never be as big as M-ND once was, and hopefully will be again.

It's pre-Madonna

It's "pre-Madonna"

Put me down for ND. Hope they

Put me down for ND. Hope they win the rest of their games. We have to play them every year for another 20+ years. When both teams are great, the rivalry is great. We also need ND to be good until the Big10 regains some respect around the nation.

How about that terrible

How about that terrible bounce in I believe the first quarter? Have you ever seen a worse bounce than that?

Better than Threet's run

Better than Threet's run against Wisconsin? Or Sheridan's perfect pass to McGuffie to set up what should have been the game tying field goal against Toledo?

Yeah, this game frightens me

Yeah, this game frightens me too.

Thanks

There must be a US version, and a "rest of the world" version, because the names are written in English. M. Bison===>M. Tyson is the least creative thing I've ever seen. I always assumed the "M." stood for Major, as he seems to be wearing a military uniform.

Because 'Don't Stop

Because 'Don't Stop Believing' is cheese dick, okay? I don't want anything cheese dick in Michigan Stadium. I'd rather hear nothing than hear Journey at Michigan Stadium (unless the band is playing it, which makes no sense and isn't helping my case, but that's how I feel, so fuck it).
