I'm 5'5", and all my life I've dealt with being picked last for pick-up games - despite always holding my own regardless of the sport. I've been overlooked in a crowded room at work because people don't think the little guy has much to offer - until I point out where they're wrong. I've heard every height joke you can think of. So I speak from a life of experience when I say this - FUCK OFF!!!

Can't believe Howard didn't pick up a grad transfer who can shoot. This team has effective anchors in Zavier in Teske but who is going to score?

This is the true concern...one that the ostriches are totally tone deaf on. An offense that runs through Simpson and Teske is doomed-plain and simple. Here, why the truth is a negative is baffling. Howard's (major) task will be to find these two effective secondary roles. And we will see how those, now sophomores, have progressed. Howard seems very no nonsense...this could get very interesting from a variety of angles.
What a dumb take... You think he didn't look at the grad transfers that were available? Do you realize he had all but zero time to recruit one? Maybe he just didn't think they were viable enough to actually get PT at Michigan? Maybe he just likes the team he has?
Shooting is a liability we all know about, and JH does also. That doesn't change if Beilein had stayed, either. The simple fact is that new players step up each year, so we have to hope one of the shooters can step up (Nunez being the most prominent). But there is a lot of talent on this team, including the outstanding PG and C positions.
Instead of being a whiny-ass douchy asshole, already claiming the team sucks and its hopeless, why not just accept it for what it is and hope for the best?
