Urban Meyer Breaks Down Joe Milton and Michigan Offense
Joe Milton is really impressive. He's a freak athlete and had command of the offense
Gattis called a great game. His best game since he's been at Michigan. The spread is fully implemented.

Urban Meyer knows football very very well. But he's still a turd.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:17 AM ^
The Urbs does have some redeeming values, however. He has a a nice yacht. And a naked man servant.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:07 AM ^
And he himself hasn't beaten up any women. I presume.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:55 AM ^
Was Craig James on his boat?
October 29th, 2020 at 9:23 AM ^
Let's see what he can do with the Lions...the ultimate challenge
October 29th, 2020 at 7:25 AM ^
Does he actually say "Michigan" or is he still doing that dumb-as-hell schtick where he only says "Wolverines" because he has to cater to the mouthbreathers in Columbus?
Either way I'm not interested in hearing his fake praise.
October 29th, 2020 at 11:13 AM ^
He doesn't say Michigan. Also I noticed he was specifically pointing out praise to Gattis and the "QB coach", but did not mention Harbaugh at all. Giving him no credit.
October 29th, 2020 at 12:37 PM ^
I'll take his analysis all day long. Sure he's a buckeye/ Notre Dame guy, so yeah, he hates Michigan, but his breakdowns of plays is very refreshing. He does them so well, breaking down complex plays and strategies for guys like me.
It's the same reason I like Mgoblog. Sure I enjoy the humor, but the analysis for why stuff is working, and what is not is really top notch and makes me feel better or worse about a situation.
I don't need another broadcaster saying a bunch of cliche stuff, like whoever hits harder is going to win. Make me know more about why something works.

I love how these have Gerry Dinardo being talked to like he's watching football for the first time in his life.
October 29th, 2020 at 7:50 AM ^
Based on his (lack of) success as a coach some would say it IS the first time he’s watched it.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:02 AM ^
And based on his BTN commentary.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:04 AM ^
I'll never forget when he said before the 2012 season that we should start Russell Bellamy at QB.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:30 AM ^
Some wanted Devin, and for Denard to be a RB.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:18 AM ^
To be fair the college game today from an X’s and O’s Standpoint is completely different than it was when he was coaching.
October 29th, 2020 at 12:54 PM ^
And the dude was an All-American.
October 29th, 2020 at 7:47 AM ^
Meyer is good at explaining the game.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:06 AM ^
Hes also very good at banging co-eds
Allegedly
October 29th, 2020 at 8:16 AM ^
Shelley Meyer agrees.
October 29th, 2020 at 10:22 AM ^
Can't tell if you are saying it like it's a bad thing?
October 29th, 2020 at 11:15 AM ^
I mean if you're married... probably to most.
October 29th, 2020 at 11:19 AM ^
I'm still doing that in my 40's. I can only imagine if I were the head coach, haha.
But, I'm also not married.
October 29th, 2020 at 11:59 AM ^
I'm sure you are...
October 29th, 2020 at 12:16 PM ^
Do I hear a little jealousy? Haha
October 29th, 2020 at 8:01 AM ^
Michigan's offense has really seemed to hit its stride this year, time to ramp it up toward the really good defenses on the schedule
October 29th, 2020 at 8:10 AM ^
Wouldn’t you need to play at least two or three games to hit a stride? A single stride is a “long decisive step” but to hit a stride is to achieve a steady pace.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:50 AM ^
Yeah I agree. I’ve been kicked in the nuts to many times throughout the years to go all in yet. Miltons confidant and I like that, but he’s yet to complete a deep ball or face any real adversity.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:02 AM ^
Well he's not wrong,... still not a fan of the Urban Liar tho!
October 29th, 2020 at 8:09 AM ^
Can't stand Meyer but he can coach and it never hurts when he's giving Michigan praise for their offense.
October 29th, 2020 at 8:37 AM ^
Preach, brother!
October 29th, 2020 at 9:11 AM ^
Is that the Three Eyed Raven?
October 29th, 2020 at 8:19 AM ^
Spread but with Ben Mason
October 29th, 2020 at 8:36 AM ^
Toast and jam, too.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:02 AM ^
I would be okay if we never saw another thread talking about Urban Meyer. I will only revise my opinion on the matter if he takes another gig and is coaching against UM.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:07 AM ^
Good.. .now maybe the Meyer hate can stop here... he always been straight about us, and hes right.
And, this is the return of Michigan football the way we want it. People here don't realize that we're back in a big way.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:12 AM ^
He will break down Michigan film big time and send it to the osu analysts..
October 29th, 2020 at 9:23 AM ^
And everything that didn't make the broadcast was sent directly to Ryan Day, I'm sure.
October 29th, 2020 at 9:42 AM ^
I hate to admit it but I enjoy Urban when he's not destroying us
October 29th, 2020 at 9:58 AM ^
Thanks for sharing
October 29th, 2020 at 11:31 AM ^
Remember that time the Big Ten allowed Urban Meyer to recruit as head coach while Like Fickell was still the head coach and doing bowl prep. Fun times that.
There's zero doubt that he's doing analysis for others besides BTN.
October 29th, 2020 at 11:38 AM ^
Urbs spends a lot of time on his addiction - Michigan.
October 29th, 2020 at 11:44 AM ^
I can't believe he remembers that game! I thought he had memory problems... /s
October 29th, 2020 at 12:09 PM ^
I don't like Urban Meyer, but I can already tell that I dislike Day more.
October 29th, 2020 at 1:40 PM ^
Loved the title of the OP.... right up to "Joe Milton"
October 29th, 2020 at 3:16 PM ^
Hope there are some wrinkles that are being worked in over the season. I would think the spread power run game has a few variations that are doable along with a host of pass variations.
Have to love the run block right and throw the out pass left. That is gonna be seen a bit in the future for sure. Gattis is what we hoped he'd be and I don't need to wait and see any more to know that already.
