On Topic: Help on Building a Pool

Submitted by alum96 on

TL:DR

I am but a meager man with some porcelain tile and spackle.

I want to build a pool,...and Mark Dantonio is going to pay for it.   A pool worthy of Kate Upton emerging from it in slow motion.... Phoebe Cates style. (google it millennials)

Said pool WOULD have swim lanes.

That said I see some guy named Brian built a recruiting wiki in my absence circa May 2016 that looks shockingly like a pool with swim lanes.  I don't know who this Brian is (if Brian is even your real name) but I'll take that as a compliment.  That said a pool with swim lanes is not truly a pool with swim lanes until you find some psycho dude to update it every 4.5 hrs in February.  I will go look for such a guy.

SHORTER

(Obligatory - put this crap in diaries idiot!)

I've tried to catch up on ALL OF THE recruiting in a span of 48 hrs, with liberal borrowing (read: stealing) of content off the front page the past week by Ace (written under the pseudo name "Brian").  And utilizing 24/7's "warm indicator".   Below is what I think is somewhat accurate. Let me know in comments if I am missing anyone or anyone else needs to be summarily removed (Holmes? Ford?), and with that data a swimming pool may be built.  It's a nice summary of everything in 1 spot even if you hate pools with swim lanes.

[Sorry that the ad on the far right margin overruns part of the table ]

p.s. before you get your panties in a bunch about the use of the word Swensoning just chill kid.  Yes I'm looking at you Mabel....

p.s.s.  I've been out a while... has Jordan Elliott flipped back to us yet?

I can't recall who, but I believe there is a FB prospect. From somewhere in the south? Forgive me for not knowing or if I'm wrong, but I'm not one who follows recruiting ins and outs that closely, but do casually.

Also, welcome back!

I saw that movie at the drive-in* with my girlfriend. She was extra happy or maybe it was extra scared later that evening.

*For you millenials we actually drove a car up to a big screen which they showed movies on while we 'watched' from the inside of our cars. Truly one of lifes simple pleasures.

Back in about 1988 I saw Phoebe Cates at a breakfast place here in Chicago. I was somewhat awestruck, so much so that I paid no attention to the guy she was with sporting a long heavy beard. That would be her husband, Kevin Kline who only a few years earlier played in The Big Chill and who's acting role at the time in a Steppenwolf play was the reason they were in town. Stupid me. She was already pretty much washed up while he was in his prime.

My Advice: Before you start building your pool, make sure you get your Christamas bonus, and that it's your normal bonus, not a jelly of the month club subscription...

Per the other thread, Samuels took down his UM stuff off twitter so could bode well for Najee and/or just mean he is not happy with the situation in terms of not a full clutch to the bosom by Harbaugh.

Assuming you're talking about doing an inground pool, there are basically three types: Gunnite, Liner and Fiberglass. I would highly recommend Fiberglass. After selecting the structure, you'll then have to consider how the water will be conditioned and heated. More on that if you're still interested.

Edit: gosh I thought this thread was about swimming pools.
