"Buckle Up"
Discuss
I'm assuming that he got pulled over for not having his seat belt on, and he's giving us advice.
I appreciate Tom, I will buckle up when I drive.
ITS GREAT TO BE A MICHIGAN WOLVERINE
I agree.
Without significant exclamation points or other notation of significant glee, this can only mean Tom VH has learned his lesson about traveling from recruiting camp to recruits homes to high school gyms without the life saving security of a seatbelt.
Shame on you TomVH
His positive statements universally come with such excitement and impact that the inclusion of such punctuation would cause any Michigan faithful to go into an uncontrollable happiness rampage, the likes of which would result in:
1. Widespread bankruptcy amongst the fanbase due to reckless generosity
2. Bruised sternums/hips from excessive chest/side-bumping
3. An explosion of unplanned pregnancies due to celebration sex and raised sperm counts
Yes, these are all scientifically proven facts.
I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.

We're either getting more good news or he's on a big safety kick right now.
but when I hear buckle up, it is usually because something bad is about to happen. Not saying I'm right...That is just how I have always interpretted that saying. To me buckle up means bumpy ride ahead. Please...I hope you're right!
I hope you're right!!!
Wison is a "big safety" at 6'2" and Clark is 6'4"!!!!!!

If his next tweet is "Don't run with scissors", we're going to have a lot of disappointed posters
It's been an hour now, my boss will be tweeting Tom soon so I can get back to work.
How many times have you been on the freeway and had someone fly by you at 100 mph then end up 2 cars ahead of you at the off ramp? What's the point? -Mark Harmon
A stab at Mateen Cleaves, no doubt.
Every time an MGoBoard poster complains about a thread topic, God kills a baby panda.
Well, if the Rule of Twos is in play then IT MUST BE WILSON!!!!!!!!!

then I have to marvel again at the HokieMattison golden poop express. The grey shirt offer, while it still stands and may indeed benefit the young man, may have also carried a message to others (cough-Wilson-cough).
Stock up on beer & popcorn guys...I have a feeling about tomorrow. Regardless though, it's GREAT to be a Meeeeechigan fan!

are hinting that something is coming, but I can't tell if it's Wilson or someone unexpected.
There is no time, sir, at which ties do not matter.
the big OL from colorado is announcing in a few hours. M is one of the top 3 along with nebraska and oregon. This could be the reference, or just get ready for the ride thats starting this weekend...
Tom, do you mean "buckle up" because we're in for a long ride or "buckle up" because things are about to take off?
Jomafalo
I was thinking "buckle up" because it's going to be a bumpy ride. I'm kind of a pessimist.

Well, if Tom said it, I'm doing it. Now my wife is wondering why I'm sitting in the garage with my seat belt on.
from what i understand he just got back from a return visit to Neb
I've strapped myself into my desk chair. Now what? Awaiting further instruction Tom...
Those who stay will be champions
I gotta believe that guys like TomVH love this stuff. Not so much the day in, day out recruiting roundups, but the f-ing around with people on message boards with tweets like these. I bet he posted "buckle up", just waiting for heads to asplode so he can sit back and laugh at all of us idiots.
I hope his next tweet is "start popping"
Not that I loved Rich Rod less, but that I loved Michigan more.
Although Arizona has a secondary seat belt law, the enforcement campaign is based upon high visibility traffic enforcement with a “zero-tolerance” approach towards seat belt and child safety seat usage."
"PHOENIX — In an effort to save more lives on Arizona’s roadways this month the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety is partnering with Arizona Department of Public Safety and other local law enforcement agencies to increase seat belt usage throughout Arizona
It is a metaphorical allegory of the rebirth of Michigan football, at first applied to the RR era but now extended as we come into the Age of Hoke. It was also the response to the question "what is an avatar with chicks in it?"

But hopefully I'm wrong and we can all get along...

Dude, all "Reply" buttons were not created equal.
You guys are sooooo misguided.
The tweet was obviously in reference to Hunwick's upcoming trip to Montreal. Tom was instructing Hunwick to "buckle up" while traveling Route401 through Windsor. Sheesh.

some ups and downs but in the end thrills making you want to do it again and again. Overall I think we should have positive thoughts.
