I live in Akron and often wear my UM gear and have never been called out by osu fans. In fact, it is common for me to hear someone yell out "Go Blue" nearly every time I wear it. There are more Michigan fans in Northeast Ohio than many realize as evidenced by the numerous people I see also wearing their UM gear.

If that date is correct then you are now in 5th grade?

Looking for two tickets to take my 13 year old son to see little brother put back in his place. It's the only game my son really wants to see live this year. Thanks and Go BLUE!!!

Craig James did not kill five hookers! It was actually four and a half.... one of them worked part-time as a waitress.

I live in Akron and my son attends Akron U's soccer camps every year. I have spoken with Caleb Porter on a number of occasions. He actually left his alma matter, Indiana, as head coach to come to Akron. The soccer program is to Akron U. what the football program is to U.M. I've been to both facilities and Akron's stadium and practice facilities are just as new and just as impressive. I honestly don't see Caleb ever leaving Akron U. for another college program.

I had a Michigan shirt as a kid with this graphic on it and thought it should have been the mascot should UM ever get one. It's the best I've seen so far... and is on shirts currently being sold at M-Den.

Tom, do you mean "buckle up" because we're in for a long ride or "buckle up" because things are about to take off?

FWIW: CFN has us finishing 2nd in Big Ten and going to Capital One Bowl on Jan. 2.

When Hoke said he was bringing back "old fashioned Michigan football", I think he was referring to the Defense not so much the offense. Borges will likely employ a West Coast pro-style offense, which Michigan has never been known for before. Though I agree he was also referencing the need to play with toughness and discipline as well.

I live in Akron and my kids have attended Akron U's soccer camps every summer for past 5 years. I also attend at least a couple of Akron U soccer games per year and watched them earlier this year play Florida Coastal Atlantic team, in which FCA did not even get a single shot on goal. The Zips are scary good on defense and can flat out shut teams down. I have also coached youth soccer and attended a coaches clinic put on by Caleb Porter. This guy runs a top notch program and knows his stuff. He is also very personable and remembers me by name every time I see him, which is only a couple of times per year. He even remembered that I attended his clinic. I took my son to the UM vs Notre Dame soccer match when we were in Ann Arbor for the UMass football game. UM will have to play their best game of the year to match up with the Zips. That being said, anything can happen in soccer. If CSU can beat the Zips and UM can beat Maryland... then we still have a shot. GO BLUE!

I think we should just all out blitz on every play. Worst case scenario: we get scored on quickly and get the ball back to our offense to score more points, then hope we end up with the ball last. Best case scenario we get the ball back quickly without the other team scoring. It's an improvement either way you look at it.

Surprised that injuries was not listed as one of the choices for contributing factors to our defensive woes considering that we have in essence lost our two best defensive players to injuries in Troy Woolfolk & Mike Martin.

My guess is that MRob moving to LB means he's taking Roh's OLB spot, so Roh can move back to DE, which means we see less of Banks/Sagesse. Just speculation on my part, but the tweet mentions Dlinemen moves, which would all make sense.

Take it for what it is worth, but that is the same site & editor that reported that Pitt has been added to the Big Ten. We'll see, but I think Henderson is more likely to end up at USC than OSU.

The interviewer questioned RR why players are going to the Media with complaints instead of coming to him. He didn't really address the issue head on like I was hoping he would. Even Rosendouche has admitted none of the players, current or former, ever came to him with complaints. I wish the idiots in the media would get it straight already. RR is too laid back sometimes and could use a PR guy or some coaching in this area. A win on Saturday though, will go a long way toward shutting some folks up I reckon.
