Free Chargers gear
A few days ago, I received two free LA Chargers shirts from ‘47 that I did not order, which arrived along with my UM CFP Championship gear that I ordered a few days after our win over Washington. So, was this a strange coincidence? Or perhaps The Knowledge is working for ‘47. Or was maybe someone at ‘47 trolling me as a Michigan fan? What say you? Any other theories?

Weird. Today I received a set of M car magnets I ordered from Lids or Fanatics, along with a free set of Golden State Warriors magnets which I did not order. Perhaps this means another coach is departing for the NBA?

’47 is a contraction representing any year in history, or the future, ending in 47 starting from the year 147 AD. In common usage, it would normally be the most recent year ending in 47.
Example: it would be odd to say that The telegraph was invented back in ‘47 (1847) but you could definitely still say Jackie Robinson broke baseball’s color barrier back in ‘47.

I appreciate their hats have the curve to them. Maybe its just because I grew up in the 80s and 90s but every time I see a kid wearing a hat with a completely flat brim i want to grab it and roll it into a tube, it bothers me irrationally. To make matters worse yesterday my pseudo-nephew was wearing one and giant, stupid crocs while I was telling the story of how everyone in Idiocracy wears crocs because they were brand new and Mike Judge (rightfully) thought they were the dumbest shoes he'd ever seen and that nobody in their right mind would wear them (which inexplicably he was wrong about).

I'm not a big hockey fan, but from posts here it seems that hockey is not going great either.
There's a vacuum of activity that could be written about in an awesome fashion. (The umpteenth speculative Harbaugh update didn't really fall into that category.)

There's your problem - you might want to work on that.
The hockey season isn't going poorly, just not as good as most of the Pearson years. The team normally improves as the season progresses and tries to make a run... and they are still on that trajectory.
It is very unfortunate that hockey doesn't get more play here - the team is basically the college version of the Redwings historically (not as the Redwings are now).
