I can’t believe these quotes are real.  What?

Harbaugh thinks he’s Bill Belichick or Nick Saban without the trophies. Dude is delusional. His schtick is getting old.

A coach like Urban would have this team in the top 3. He pretty much exposed UMs offense on Fox in an articulate, intelligent manner. It disgusts me that I actually like watching Urban break down football on tv bc our coach is such a weirdo.

Um it’s possible to have recruiting deficiencies while recruiting well in aggregate.

See DT, CB and WR recruiting moving forward. Hell even RB is suspect. Add on Harbaughs retention issues with players and boom. Top end talent + deficiencies. Urban would still get more out of this team.

Harbaugh exists in the capacity he does (coaching a college football team, making millions of dollars) because fans are willing to pay money to watch the team and but merch. The media is our indirect access to the team, so therefore he does sort of owe the media something. I'll never understand this concept of fans and media not being able to be frustrated or complain, he exists because we exist, he should act like it

Or...…..He's saying it in a sarcastic way towards the media because its a dumb question to ask how the offense is doing after the worst offensive outing in Harbaughs time at Michigan.

Yeah this makes a lot more sense than you thinking Harbaugh reads MgoBlog, Reddit, and Twitter after games and sees the "toxic asshole fans" opinions of the offense

You went head over heels for the Gillette toxic masculinity ad didn't you Mr. Rogers?

When Brady Hoke was hired, I posted that it made me sad and depressed. You ripped me for that comment saying that Michigan fans are the worst and should just cheer for our team.

You know, it's okay for Michigan fans to desire something better than mediocre. Just because that's how you live your life, doesn't mean everyone has to set their expectation levels so low. But you certainly fit in here.

Warning: Do not seek constructive criticism on your Harbaugh’s players. He will utter nothing but praise. A rule of thumb for operating your Harbaugh: Players who earn the heaviest amounts of praise often deserve it the least. (See Jenkins, A.J, and Baldwin, Jon).

What's he supposed to say "the team is loaded with NFL talent but can't execute simple plays"

The coach has to stand by his team in public. I'm sure the internal message will be more "nuanced"

Y’all are stupid if you think Harbaugh is going to say anything negative about his team to the media. The media is the enemy. They love you when your winning handedly and they they criticize you win you barely win. I don’t care if he is a great commentator. Just win the game.

It’s one thing to say nothing negative in public, and support your team. It’s another to say the offense is hitting their stride in every way. It just sounds inauthentic, and I’d think even the players would sense that. If I’m a recruit (especially a skilled position athlete) watching the game and reading that quote I’d run if Harbaugh’s version of hitting their stride, or firing on all cylinders  was todays performance.

It’s honestly hard for me to even believe this was said man. It sounds so off.
