I'm always surprised how many commentators (or coaches in the article) say we lack depth. I think our team is pretty deep. 4 guys off the bench play quite a bit. I think a 9 man rotation is plenty deep and we know Bielfeldt can play too.
|20 weeks 1 day ago||when was it tweeted?||
I don't see any timestamp.

what I was thinking. The numbers seem high. Have nothing to compare it too though.
I was also surprised that Moeller lost almost half of the recruits. Hopefully just a downside to a short tenure.

|27 weeks 1 day ago||PSU||
Anyone else notice PSU (O'Brien) went for it on 4th A LOT. 10 times more than anyone else and that's 40% more! I wonder if that comes from Belichick. I think he's known as a gambler.

I count 7 BIG teams eligble, but your chart and summary say 6.
|30 weeks 3 days ago||yes!||
I agree. I really hate it when announcers call an end around a reverse or a regular reverse a double reverse. Just cause there were two handoffs doesn't make it a double reverse. Maybe if the QB starts with sweep motion, but just handing off to a back like this play doesn't make it a single reverse.

What's with the [knock]? First I thought he was knocking on wood... but the 2nd group in the consistency question didn't make any sense to me.
|35 weeks 8 hours ago||TE comparison clip||
I think that's the wrong clip for comparing AJ Williams to Kwiatkowski. The clip is the screen to Gallon and the TE at the top doesn't really do much of anything and the DE doesn't tackle Denard as you described.

Not defending their choice to challenge, but according to this article, the BoT didn't agree to the sanctions, just the president.
|51 weeks 1 day ago||discover and amazon||
I have a discover card and a chase amazon card. I use them both. Discover will run special 5% bonus on certain items certain months. Plus you get extra cash back if you redeem for gift cards instead of directly for cash. Only do it if you're sure you'll spend the gift card though!
|51 weeks 1 day ago||better redemption||
But it's better not to apply to amazon purchases b/c then you don't get your triple points! Take the cash and spend it elsewhere and charge all amazon orders to your card.
|52 weeks 12 hours ago||bleachers||
I expect them to put bleachers between the scoreboards and ends of the suites instead of ontop of the suites. This would make it a closed oval instead of open in the corners. The suites are a little higher than the scoreboards now, but you could make it work.

You pay 1.25% if you live in the city and 1.25% if you work in the city. I lived in Canton, worked in Detroit, and paid 1.25%.

"By the way, the most expensive way to earn Priority Points is to earn a 4-year degree from the University of Michigan."
Grad degrees are even worse! You actually don't get any points (assuming you did UG at UM too).... it's like throwing your money away, except for the whole degree thing.
My wife and I have 5 UM degrees between us and a total of 10 points for them... that's $200 a pop!

|1 year 15 weeks ago||kickoffs||
I'm not sure teams will be smart enough to avoid touchbacks. I always hate when there's a penalty (especially 15 yard variety) on a score and the team gets to kickoff from the 45. What do they do??? Boom in through the uprights. If they don't do it there, what makes anyone think they'll do it from the 35? The one argument might be that it's always the case so they can practice it more than the rare 45 yard line kickoff.

What does Charlie have against Bing? There are much more buckeyey (sp?) search engines out there.
|1 year 17 weeks ago||Loved it||
I lived in Seattle for 5 years and loved watching the games at 9am on Sat morning. Get up, roll down to the Rocksport and have a large omlette and watch the game. No waiting nervously for kickoff. Then party down all day after a W.
I don't understand why everyone thinks noon is so early. Especially the students who just have to walk over to the stadium.
|1 year 17 weeks ago||Chart?||
I also came near the end of the RR era. I wonder if Brian/other can make a chart of number of registered users versus time or numbe of newly registered users vs time. Might make an interesting chart.
|1 year 18 weeks ago||Lacrosse?||
Isn't the Men's Lacrosse match against Ohio also on the 4/14? Are they going to do some kind of combo lacrosse/spring football all day event?
|1 year 18 weeks ago||Awesome||
Great info, thanks for the diary. I've caught a few games on TV and was always confused in a couple places. This helped!
What are typical shift lenghts? Or do you typically sub out just on offense/defense switches?
