"We played under screens bc Michigan hasn't proven they can shoot outside consistently.  Today, they hit their shots."

This is probably the truth, but it also seems like that's how they were defending.

No excuses for that piss-poor performance from spartie. The refs tried to keep them in the game (17-2 FTA, at Crisler, WTF?) but MSU just has too many issues this year. It's Winston, Tillman, and then who? Henry gave them some offense in spurts, but he's not ready to be an Alpha yet.

They scored 3 points in the first 9 minutes of the game. Our defense played well, but no defense is that good. It’s OK to admit the Sparties played like shit. They have been playing like shit lately. The broadcast even showed a graph highlighting their poor starts this season.

It's pretty disappointing that the refs didn't help us enough, even though till the end when we had to foul them too much, I felt like the refs failed us in our ability to cheat and win this game.

I really believe that's how he feels, midget mind  in a midget body,  I don't give a fuck how un-PC that sounds.

Izzo never fails to disappoint:

Tom Izzo on how different Michigan is with Isaiah Livers: "How different would we be with Josh Langford?"

Says it was other players, like Simpson from 3, Johns off the bench, that beat the Spartans.

Remember John Beilein complaining about how Mitch McGary, Caris LeVert, Derrick Walton and Spike Albrecht had season-ending injuries?  Or how Ben Cronin injured himself before his freshman season and never saw the court at all?

Me neither.

But to Tiny Tom, of course it's relevant that they were without a guy who hasn't played a basketball game since 2018.
