N.C. St. @ Duke 9:00 ET ESPN3 (WTF, this is really not on a cable network??!)

And for basketball enthusiasts here's a good night to catch the sneaky good Oregon team in action....Colorado @ Oregon 10:00 ET ESPNU

Go Illini!  (Let's not hold our breath)

The ESPN2 studio guys after the UVA game were all "let's take you out to Texas A&M which we hope will be a better game than that."  WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT WAS THE BEST GAME.

amd michigan is #1 AGAIN! Ind, Kan, Fla all lose. Could not have have been better. Now, onwards towards Madison, and with a victory, #1. Ill add this: playing on the road against a good team knowing that a wun outs you on top ~ this itself is good pressure practice for our young team.

I don't care for the #1 ranking, I care about the Big Ten Title.

I know you are kidding at all, but I would rather it be guaranteed that the worst Michigan does during the hardest 4 game stretch in the nation is 2-2, instead of going into Breslin needing a victory to make it 2-2. Yes I would rather beat State than Wisco. A) it is State. B) they are more of a threat for the Big Ten title, but I will not be picky.

Besides, with all the #1 teams losing this year, doesn't regression to the mean of #1 teams losing, have to happen soon? What better time than next week?

Oh yea, I still have not gotten over Death to Backboards from a couple of years ago.

Wow.   Gotta give it to Illinois (well, maybe D.J Richardson!) for hanging tough.  I was on the same page as a poster above saying they'd teter between 6-14 points but never get it "really" close.  They sure as hell hung tough and once the opportunity was there (given?) they took it.  Great stop on Oladipo at the end and sometimes it's easier to be lucky than good...To get that wide open look with UNDER a second left, kinda lucky, kinda piss-poor defense!  I think we'll take it though!

Once again, indiana blows on the road.

It warms my heart knowing Michigan won by double-digits there while indiana blew it.

Literally, the first thing I said at the end of Indiana-Illinois was "HOLY SHIT!"

That aside, this underscores just how crazy the Big Ten has been really - Illinois was outshot, outrebounded, and had a couple more fouls, but fewer turnovers and more blocks - that, in the end, seemed to be the clincher.

Kudos to Illinois for hanging in there when probably not many thought they might.
