will be michigan's highest pick in a while

the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
The ESPN2 studio guys after the UVA game were all "let's take you out to Texas A&M which we hope will be a better game than that." WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THAT WAS THE BEST GAME.

Holy crap assembly hall is rocking (not that assembly)
Tie game! Go Illini!
Blank.....Blank......You're not looking at the big picture here.
illini showing life! go illinois!
What an answer by victor
Sure he called it.
Paul is unconscious. Fugly FT. But it went in.
Illinois tied with 37 seconds to go!
You can't win it all back if you don't push more into the middle...
Wow what a block!
Great steal by Illinois. Better block by Victor O.
EDIT: HOLY, HOLY POOP. Layup with 0.9 seconds!!! Great win, Illinois.
How do you get that open! Ilinois wins!
Holy shit, did that just happen?!?!?!
amd michigan is #1 AGAIN! Ind, Kan, Fla all lose. Could not have have been better.
Now, onwards towards Madison, and with a victory, #1.
Ill add this: playing on the road against a good team knowing that a wun outs you on top ~ this itself is good pressure practice for our young team.

WHAT WHAT WHAT
Great game. Shocked the Illini made that comeback. Now the Hoosiers have lost at home and lost to an unranked team on the road. That will hurt their chance at a conference title. HAVE TO WIN AT WISKY!
What an inbound play!
What garbage D by Zeller on the baseline inbound play...Ohio State they are not...
BTW, is the UCLA game empty? Pathetic fan support there
Coach Hoke once told me that a moral victory is still a (expletive deleted) loss.
HOW ARE YOU THAT WIDE OPEN EVER HOLY SHIT

Whaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Illini Win!!!!
Eat it crean! You can't beat anyone on the road!

He totally ignored Griffey after the screen...or just plain bad communication.
I almost thought Griffey was gonna choke that layup.

I guess Indiana can be beat at (an) Assembly Hall.
The Michigan Difference. Oh yea, it is real.
Do we want to win? I mean that would give us a number 1 ranking heading into the Breslin...history does not like this season.
Screw history. Besides, we need at least a split in the next two.
I'll take being the #1 team in the nation over losing to Wisconsin any day. Death to backboards!
I don't care for the #1 ranking, I care about the Big Ten Title.
I know you are kidding at all, but I would rather it be guaranteed that the worst Michigan does during the hardest 4 game stretch in the nation is 2-2, instead of going into Breslin needing a victory to make it 2-2. Yes I would rather beat State than Wisco. A) it is State. B) they are more of a threat for the Big Ten title, but I will not be picky.
Besides, with all the #1 teams losing this year, doesn't regression to the mean of #1 teams losing, have to happen soon? What better time than next week?
Oh yea, I still have not gotten over Death to Backboards from a couple of years ago.
effing love it! Haha Hoosiers, way to blow the game, this is awesome for us in the standings.
Win at Wisc and # 1 again
Wow what a game!
Holy complete utter defensive break-downs at the last minute, Batman
and totally unexpected. Huge letdown from IU there. I guess the B1G really is a tough place to play on the road...fingers crossed for saturday!!
Man, winning on the road in the B1G is hard.
WOW! How does it feel to play on the road bitches? HAHAH!
I don't believe what i just saw! Gota win at wiscy and back to number 1!
Also... that was an A+ court-storming by the fans. Immediate, with no delays.
also also baaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
I think they were out on the floor before the ball even left his hand.
No kidding. The ball might not have been through the net before the court was filled.
Take care of business Saturday and we are #1 again!!
Wow. Gotta give it to Illinois (well, maybe D.J Richardson!) for hanging tough. I was on the same page as a poster above saying they'd teter between 6-14 points but never get it "really" close. They sure as hell hung tough and once the opportunity was there (given?) they took it. Great stop on Oladipo at the end and sometimes it's easier to be lucky than good...To get that wide open look with UNDER a second left, kinda lucky, kinda piss-poor defense! I think we'll take it though!
Once again, indiana blows on the road.
It warms my heart knowing Michigan won by double-digits there while indiana blew it.
Literally, the first thing I said at the end of Indiana-Illinois was "HOLY SHIT!"
That aside, this underscores just how crazy the Big Ten has been really - Illinois was outshot, outrebounded, and had a couple more fouls, but fewer turnovers and more blocks - that, in the end, seemed to be the clincher.
Kudos to Illinois for hanging in there when probably not many thought they might.

Epic second half from illinois. Good game.
3 pointer. I wonder if Illinois drew that up as it played out.

Indiana fans are blaming the refs...unbelievable, they benefited from several horrible calls throughout the game. Not the refs fault Crean struggles on the road.
What? Really? They got every call that game. What are they possibly complaining about?
Not to get ahead of ourselves (but i will) we could potentially go into East lansing as the number 1 team. Not that the game need any more motivation.
