Actually, thank you LSU. And Southern Miss (for getting a different opponent). And Wiscy/MSU for beating Wiscy/MSU.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
I think when the actualy bcs rankings come out, this Okie State win will be just as big as the LSU win.
December 4th, 2011 at 3:48 AM ^
southern miss. beating Houston opened up a bcs at large
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:21 PM ^
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
That would be Mark. But Florida sucks.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
That they've Stooped to a new level!
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:33 PM ^
Some might say that's Stoopid.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:41 AM ^
this is all Stoopendous.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
OK, Hou, UGA all losing by blowouts is HUGE....
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
Wisc losing will really help us too at this point.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
If MSU loses a close game, they may not drop below us. If UW loses, they will.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
With Virginia Tech going down could also throw a monkey wrench. Maybe!
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:24 PM ^
Is Clemson crushing Ba Tech any threat to us?
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
I don't think so. The only reason why a 9-3 Baylor team is such a threat is because the computers really like the Big 12. They don't like the ACC nearly as much.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
Absolutely none. The winner (Clemson) will play WVU in the Orange Bowl.
The Big East and ACC basically had semi-final games this week.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:29 PM ^
It's the threat to keep us out of the top 14. Michigan is the top at-large choice regardless.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:27 PM ^
Maybe. I think enough teams have lost, but it doesn't help.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:26 PM ^
I don't want to celebrate until it's a done deal. I'ma scared.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:30 PM ^
It's just a matter of who we play at this point in time.
At the end of the day, we just needed UGA to lose. A few other games have helped, but that was the big one.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:36 PM ^
I have seen that off shaded block M somewhere before.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:42 PM ^
This is totally off-topic, but yes I have seen it before. Not just in your avatar. Which is weird because I made it. Where did you find it?
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:27 PM ^
We have 4 results favoring us
1) lsu taking care of Georgia
2) okst dismantling ok
3) Houston losing to south miss
4) B10 championship

Two which don't help us are
1) baylor beating Texas
2) tcu winning big

Based on this I think we get slotted 14th
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:42 PM ^
with Houston, Oklahoma, Georgia and Wisconsin/MSU loser falling below us and Baylor jumping ahead of us.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:28 PM ^
Looks like it's going to be Stanford or TCU...
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:29 PM ^
Does anyone think this oklahoma state demolition of oklahoma will kill our bcs chances if OK st goes to the title game now?
Stanford, Alabama, and looks like TCU are assured at-large selecions. The sugar bowl would surely invite Bama, and don't you think the fiesta bowl would invite a Big 12 team since it has a partnership with the Big 12? Like Kansas St? Thoughts anyone?
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
Why would it hurt?
If they went to the championship game, Alabama would be in the Fiesta or Sugar. TCU will likely be in the other one with us and Stanford.
We're making this WAY more complicated than it needs to be.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:39 PM ^
The Sugar would have to take Bama at that point.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:45 PM ^
It would be Michigan/Alabama part 1 in the Sugar Bowl. TCU vs. Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl. WVU/Clemson in the Orange and Wisky (hopefully) vs. Oregon in the Rose.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:48 PM ^
I don't think that's accurate. Bama to Sugar then Fiesta gets two picks...you're saying they'd pick TCU AND Stanford over Michigan. I don't find that likely.
December 4th, 2011 at 9:45 AM ^
correct. The Sugar will take the "home team" in Alabama, Then Fiesta will take us and Stanford witht he next 2 picks. Then is leaves TCU as the other "home team" for the Sugar.
Fiesta Bowl is good enough for me. I will still go.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:29 PM ^
2 BCS teams?....from Michigan?.....hope not
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:31 PM ^
What would it take for us to draw K state or WVU? As I posted before, I really don't want to take on a top 5 team yet. We're better, but Im tired of seeing a 10-15 ranked UM team getting splattered in de-facto road games in bowls against top 5 teams.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:31 PM ^
YOU DON'D NEED TO YELL AT EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO COLOR COMMENTATE
December 4th, 2011 at 12:22 AM ^
You prefer emotionless analysis that is often incorrect?

YOU DON'D NEED TO YELL AT EVERYTHING IN ORDER TO COLOR COMMENTATE
So important it needed to be stated twice.

OWHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
This color guy on Fox is annoying but I do like the intensity he had on that 4th down catch
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:32 PM ^
And UW has officially lost this game. Not enough time to score again after they let MSU score on their upcoming drive.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:48 PM ^

Have you guys referring to him as the commentator or this guy not heard of him?
He's March Maddness
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:35 PM ^
We could be as high as 12, passing OU, Houston, MSU/Wis., Ga.
IMO we should pass K St. too. No way they should be ranked higher than us but apparently the computers love them.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:37 PM ^
so if Sparty loses but stays above us and Baylor passes us are we still okay?
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:41 PM ^
They won't fall a bunch, but they won't be ahead of us. The loser goes behind us.
And if Baylor passes us, which they won't...it won't matter. No Bowl is going to take Baylor over us.
We're going to be #13 or #14. We're fine.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:43 PM ^
I know that we are more attractive choice, but will RG3 being a Heisman candidate have any affect on the selectors.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:49 PM ^
It's about money, period. Not RG3 or even Denard Robinson.
Michigan fans travel better, will spend more money, Michigan has a MUCH bigger following meaning MUCH higher TV ratings.
You can throw that whole scenario out, if you think it's Baylor vs. Michigan, it's Michigan 100 times out of 100 in terms of this. Even if it shouldn't be, that's the world we live in with this system.
Michigan is ALWAYS going to be ahead of Baylor unless it was getting into the BCS Championship Game.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:40 PM ^
If anyone is curious this link has the entire selection process.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:52 PM ^
I love the fact that State fans are going to be crying about that call for YEARS!!!
