Hmmm: Not ONE call against the plays that knocked Speight and Peters out the game. Not one.

Even though I am a Michigan fan, I will say that if Alabama gets in it will only be because of some kind of "lifetime achievement" award.
Alabama this year does not have a top 4 resume. They have no impressive wins and they did not even win their division.

He inherited a really good group of players from constant underachiever Mark Richt - someone who always won 9 games. Don't compare UGA to what Harbaugh inherited from late career Carr --> Rich Rod --> Hoke. Completely different programs...

Don't think Richt underachieved at all, unless you think anyone that coaches in that league is obligated to cheat due to geogrpahical location. Mark refused to do so and suddenly - not saying he is, but - kids are decommitting from UM and others to play at GA. Richt was always going to be a runnerup in that league due to being an honest coach. He might not have the hardward some have but he doesn't have the headaches either and he still has a damn good job and his integrity.
He just might get in at Miami w/o ever having to compromised his priniciples.

I'll agree with this. Richt did seem to run a clean program, and it doesn't appear that Smart does. But Richt left plenty of good players on that team - WAY more than Harbaugh had in 2015.
