Glad he was able to have a moment of pure joy with the team.

So very very sad. He loved Michigan so much and Michigan loved him back.  He had a two year old son that won’t have his father.  RIP Meechie.

Please think of donating to the osteosarcoma Institute.

I had read that his condition was worsening. What a great ambassador he was for the program. Love, comfort and restoration to his family.

This makes me genuinely sad. I had hopes this young man would pull through all this, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. At least he got to live his dream, even for a little bit, with the football team.
RIP Meechie

I obviously never met him in person but was really inspired by his story and his courage.

This news broke my heart, RIP Meechie, and God Bless you.

RIP Meechie.   I wish you got to see what UM is about to do. At least you got to see them annihilate OSU.  Prayers to his family and loved ones.  Sad day.

If memory serves, I believe he also had a son or daughter he was caring for as this was all going on.

The world is simply a cruel and unforgiving place, for no reason at all. I hope his child and family can find peace in all of this.

May Meechie rest in, and his family find - peace.  His relationship with Michigan and the team reflects the character and culture of everyone.

Life passes quickly - and, seeing the happiness the team provided and shared with him - touches on the important things in life - and what each of us can do.

Go Blue! Always…

Gosh, this is so sad. Thinking of his family during this difficult time. 😞

I'm smiling knowing that he's going to have the absolute best view watching his team in the CFP.

RIP Meechie.

I'm happy Big Meech was able to get his message out there and was able to get some funds for his child before he passed away.

Loved everything this kid stood for.  The world lost an amazing soul

I guess there is only one thing we can do for him now...win the whole fucking thing in his honor.
