Wasn't he one of the top rated QBs in the country, a five-star to almost every recruiting site, a regular stand-out on the camp and 7 on 7 circuit, a well-known and highly recruited HS player?

As I said above.  If true, it's either the greatest move the coaches have ever made, or the dumbest.  If this is a kid who was a legitimate top tier D1 talent, but had his season ended early due to injury, then it'd be an absolute coup to get him this early—akin to how we picked up Denzel Ward.

I did a little twitter stalking, and he says he's transferring to GR Christian to play with Drake Harris. Maybe he got Drakes offer by mistake. Also, based off of his tweets, not sure the coaches would be interested. Lots of "shits" and N bombs!

No Michigan commit ever uses any profanity, and our coaches have never publicly used any such words.   Especially not in any coach clinics in Kalamazoo.
