Then perhaps you can look up what folks like Dave Chappelle, Ricky Gervias, etc. and just about every other comedian says about PC culture.  They all pretty much say the same thing.

One of my other favorites is from the comedian Steven Hughes.

Well the problem is that it doesn't work as hyperbole either.

You mentioned Dave Chappelle and Ricky Gervias.  Neither of them have been significantly held back by the PC police.  In his last few specials, Dave has used homophobic and sexists slurs and did what most would agree is an offensive caricature of an Asian person.  In his own words, "the t(ransgendered people)'s hate my guts".  Dude won the Mark Twain Prize.  He's doing fine.

Ricky can't host the Golden Globes anymore?  That's a pity because he was brilliant but he'll survive.

Tina Fey wrote blackface characters on 30 Rock that were taken down.  There is a point in your favor that PC police literally cancelled something but that's two episodes.  She also won the Mark Twain prize.

Louis CK used to use the N word in his stand up but that didn't cancel him.  His creepiness did him in.

Some of the most un PC people in the country, Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson, have accumulated enormous wealth, fame and influence despite the loathing they inspire by people like me.  Even Alex Jones is still finding ways to spread his message.

Chik Fil A and Hobby Lobby are still doing well.  Donald Trump, the most cancelled president since JFK in Dallas, is still extremely popular with his base and will be the GOP nominee in 2024 if he wants to be.

Hell, Joe Biden isn't considered PC, but he dominated the primary of the party of political correctness and won the general election easily.

And, to bring it full circle, Norm did all manner of un PC things in his career and he has been universally mourned.  So i'm having a hard time imagine why PC culture has been oppressive, but I am always willing to listen to counterpoints (or would it be counterpunts?).

I only have this to add and I think Norm would like it:

I was watching the news while on vacation a few years back. They were interviewing someone from OJ’s prison. “How is OJ as an inmate?” they asked. “Oh, model prisoner, great guy, great guy, leads the other prisoners in sports, does the jobs he’s asked to do, never get’s in fights or causes trouble, so like I said model prisoner.” Do you think he killed Nicole and Ron Goldman?” “Oh yea, 100%.”
