Again, I said most have chosen to return. As I watch both teams I’m just looking at who’s coming back and who’s not and what kind of teams they’ll be next year. Msu has most of their guys comin back which bodes well for their season. And us? We have a lot more unknowns.

I read it a few times and didn't really understand it either.  You may go back and edit it after I type this, but as of right now, you most certainly do not specifically say besides All and Upshaw.  There is a weird "?" in there, and maybe the sentiment was intended to be that they were staying, but it was not at all clear.

They lost Walker and Nailor so those pieces are decidedly not coming back.  The big thing is I don't think a lot of these guys were getting much NFL interest.  Henderson in particular was talked about as a possible 2nd/3rd round guy coming into the year and I checked now and I don't really see him listed on any boards earlier than the 5th/6th.  At that point he might as well come back.

Elite teams lose guys all the time to the NFL and they have to compensate, and UM has put a top-10 number of players in the NFL under Harbaugh.  Makes total sense that a bunch of guys getting top-50 draft mocks are going to take a chance.

Literally every player you listed sucks except henderson..  crouch played 2 seasons in college and has shown nothing to make him draftable.

They lost literally every impact player on offense except reed

MSU is "literally bringing back all their players" except Nailor and Walker, who are the guys who actually have a reason to declare for the NFL.

UM has lost Haskins and Hill who were expected to go and were huge stars this season for a team that got a ton of notoriety. Only Hilton has been a surprise.

If you can't understand why UM players, fresh off of individual accolades and a successful championship season might go pro and strike while the iron is hot, and dudes from MSU would not, then you are not trying to critically think about the situation.

No she didn’t.
But more importantly, the Balas report that UM has offered a deal but Harbaugh has been silent. Is that a bad sign?

During the holidays a family member shared this with me.  “If someone wants to find something negative, then they can find it.  So the same holds true for positivity.  On this board there are a few posters on our board that even when you read it without looking at the name you can almost say like,”I bet I know who said that!”  Ultimately we will know soon.  Until then just hope that something positive will come out of this.  Even if Warde, was told by Harbaugh himself there are some posters in here that will execute him for holding in a confidential conversation between the two.  Same goes for Sam, and or John U. tell us all or it didn’t happen.  A coach with no agent is telling a no name reporter that he’s taking a NFL coaching position.  And some people are still positioning that it’s the gospel.  Color me a rainbow!!!

I just google searched for news about Jim Harbaugh and from what I can tell, he's going to be coaching at least 4 different NFL teams next year.  He's going to be busy.

HARBAUGH ISN'T LEAVING MICHIGAN IF HE CAN HELP IT!!!!! He wants to stay in Ann Arbor, provided Michigan is a great job in 2022. If Warde doesn't step up in terms of contract and support (including something more formal regarding NIL), then Harbaugh is going to go back to the pros.

This is all terribly transparent. Fan consternation needs to be directed at whether the University of Michigan wants to have a puncher's chance at competing with the big boys or not. We're never going to outbid the SEC but we also can't get slaughtered either. This SHOULD be doable.

Ok. Well I’ll guess I’ll prepare myself now for him leaving.

wow what a kick to the balls that would be. I hope to the good lord above that this girl is full of shit and people in her circle are bs.

if he leaves, like most here saying, means Michigan doesn’t want to play ball in todays landscape and that is a major major bummer and it will impact my fandom naturally. Which sucks.

Warde, just give him what he freakin wants. The program is ready to launch off and you are going to let that go?   (Like he reads this stuff…but it makes me feel better to type it)

I am just here to say that this board, like other sports blogs out there, is going to need to grapple with the distinct likelihood that trying to use Twitter to read the tea leaves, as it were, only means that you're nursing tea that is a foul mix of Clorox and Xanax and you are at grave risk of inviting unfortunate conclusions on many occasions.

She didn't delete the original tweet but when you delete "to the NFL" and you're an NFL reporter it sort of neutralizes a chunk of the message.

Again, Harbaugh may leave but when a semi-random reporter for the NFL network tweets about a coach possibly leave college for the pros and then removing the NFL part I question the overall quality of her reporting.

Jim isnt leaviing if Warde gives him what he wants, He wants more money for assistants and the ability to match or beat any offers the assistants may get in the future. He wants upgrades to facilities,Michigan to step up their recruiting program and a strong Nil program at MIchigan. He gets those and he will be more than happy at Mivhigan. He is not unhappy coaching at MIchigan and looking for greener pastures.
