Predictions Michigan Concordia Basketball
Michigan returns to the court after the amazing run last April. Concordia comes to town tonight at 7 BTN on Demand. I am really looking forward to this season. I am excited for the freshman and a lot depth as well. I expect Michigan to win comfortably.
Michigan 86
Concordia 51

Michigan by 15. Beilein experiments with lineups a lot making the score closer than it otherwise would be.

Michigan actually has depth at every position so I'd say it's by 40 with the experiment. It's Concordia, a NAIA school. Their bench players >>>>>>> Concordia starting 5.

Yeah I thought a couple of their exhibitions last year were closer when the lineups were being tinkered with. I was wrong. UofM by 25.

but being an exhibition game, I say something like 85-60

DAMMIT I WANTED TO HAVE THE FIRST PAIN PREDICTION OF THE YEAR.

Michigan by 35 and that is closer than it should be due to experimenting.

GR3 goes for 30
October 29th, 2013 at 2:15 AM ^
Moose runs the point, Spike plays the four, and McGary hurts his back further by celebrating to much. Zak Irvin drops 25 off the bench to start his 6th man of the year campaign. Michigan wins 94-32. Also, Beilien trots out a Horford, Morgan, Irvin, Caris, GR3 lineup because TALL.

I predict PANCAKES
October 29th, 2013 at 6:13 AM ^
Well, if you run the matchup through Massey's simulator, it gives Michigan a 100% chance of winning and produces a mean score of 100-49 over several trials. That's all based on historic performance, of course, but I would imagine that - even if there are lineup experiments, Michigan wins by a comfortable margin all the same.

Probably something like 70-52. We'll screw around a bit and the score will be closer than the game actually is

Same question as Sllepy81. The original post said its on BTN on demand, but I don't see it. There's a live video stream on mgoblue.com but you need a subscription.
Anybody finding anything different?

Quite,ugly too.

I expect Morris will get 3 TD passes in the 4th quarter.

Alright, so BTN on Demand. Is this a channel or is this something you view online? Also, if I have cable, is it similar to like ESPN3 and I'd have access to it?
October 29th, 2013 at 8:57 AM ^
someone please answer this question.
The game is not listed on BTN2Go's website, but it is available on mgoblue.com if you have a "premium" account.
If I have BTN access online, will I be able to watch?

I more wonder what the crowd will be like -- does anyone show for these exhibitions?
October 29th, 2013 at 9:19 AM ^
It will be closer than it should with Beilein mixing up rotations a lot, but Michigan wins comfortably.

With the World Series on an off-night I was wondering if there was anything to watch on TV. Some NAIAction (tm) should do the trick. Obviously a D-I team could beat an NAIA team by 100 if it wanted to, probably even with the backups in, but I am going to go with a 25 point win due to general apathy by all involved.
October 29th, 2013 at 10:24 AM ^
Yes.
October 29th, 2013 at 10:28 AM ^
Come on...it's an exhibition game against a scrub. If M doesn't win by 25+, then something is wrong.
October 29th, 2013 at 10:42 AM ^
Michigan wins 82-43.
October 29th, 2013 at 11:40 AM ^
I predict an unnesecary number of runs up the middle as the team tries out its BIG rotation.
