Maybe Florida maybe Michigan. This would be a huge get.
at least it's not just us?
Is going to build quite the program here in Ann Arbor...here's to giving him the facilities and resources he needs, because Michigan basketball should never be what it was the past decade.
Hoping for the best. We need some more future Manny Harris-es.
Coach B is building a solid program in Ann Arbor. Here's to hoping Prather makes the right decision.
Signs point to the Gators.
m. night shyamalamamamamaman ain't no basketball savant
Any public signs?
Probably not an awesome sign. Might be a different story if he had visited a place that wasn't already in his top 2, but I'm guessing he didn't announce a decision date because he was underwhelmed by Florida. Who knows, though. Let's hope he chooses Michigan.
Would be a great pick-up for us.
Sam Webb needs to get on the phone and give us a strong gut feel.
what you guys are talking about, but Brian had this post Friday http://mgoblog.com/content/casey-prather-coming-wing-near-you that sounded pretty positive for the good guys.
I'm reading an update from TheWolverine guys that "really good sources" indicate that Florida is the team to beat.
I'm not giving up hope, just telling you what I have read.
will be interesting to see who's right here: Webb or Rivals.
It would be interesting if they had given their "sense" of things on the same day. Webb's articles were from last week. Might as well be last year in the recruiting world. I don't think it's fair to compare.
(Caveat: unless Webb is still saying the same "UM looking good re: Prather" things today)
negging him? Sam said that he's hearing Florida as of now. It could change but it sounds like he's Florida bound.
I really, really, really hope Balas & Co are dead wrong.
Either way I'm glad he's deciding now. If he picks Florida, we've got plenty of time to shift gears (and put on the fullcourt press for Ziegler, who won't decide until the spring).
I agree Brian's post was very Michigan-centric. The comment from his coach saying he's gonna have two guys in the Big Ten, then referring to Prather and one of his teammates, seems almost like a slip up, and maybe too good to be true. I really hope it's Prather, but I guess we have a solid plan B and C.
I haven't been this interested in beating Florida for a recruit since Denard Robinson
Hopefully this breaks in Michigans favor. To miss out on Prather and end up not landing Ziegler would hurt.
Here's hoping he decides to GO BLUE.
he's probably going to florida. but if we really only have one scholly to give for this year. if we get zeigler - and that's admittedly a big if - we'll all be happy.
it seems like Zeigler will go wherever his dad goes. There is a chance that a school will hire his dad to be an assistant coach and Trey will follow him. I hope that I'm wrong but that's the feeling that I get regarding Zeigler.
