OT Peyton Manning's perfect first half
Is anybody else watching the Colts try to go to 14-0? At the half the Colts lead 21-17, and Peyton Manning is 12/12 for 116 yards and 2 TDs:

I wish I could say that Brady is the best QB in the NFL but Manning is making really really hard to argue that.

Look at their respective statistics in the playoffs. Brady is suerpior to Manning by a significant margin. Brady is the best until Manning matches Brady in performing in the playoffs.

Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer both have a ring, but I would take Dan Marino over them any day.

It's not, but it is a big factor. And when you have two QBs who are pretty equal, I would say that is a good tie-breaker.

Agreed (unfortunately). And today, Manning is unquestionably the better QB, whether or not he was 4+ years ago.

shouldn't be a factor toward determining which QB is better. This is a function of a team rather than individuals.
Taking everything into account, Peyton Manning is better than Tom Brady. Like it or not, he is. This season may be Peyton's finest year because he did it with re-tooled OL, almost non-existent running game, 2 WRs who weren't highly touted coming out of college. Sure he had Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark but Peyton consistently produces regardless of who's on the field. To me, that's amazing.

in his three SB wins? Can you say Jabar Gaffney, Kevin Faulk, and a bunch of players who never did anything. I don't believe there is a Dallas Clark or Reggie Wayne in the bunch not to mention a Jeff Saturday.

I only root for them to do well when Mike Hart is in the game. When Addai is in I actively root against them.

mike hart just got a pitch and ran for two yards. Also he is great blocking rb.

great series for Hart with the dump pass and then 5 yard run. the stuffed run behind the line was poor blocking.

He shoulda gotten more on that 1st down run...he had good blocking. But that was a nice first down catch.

has repeatedly kept saying for the last 10 minutes, Colts down by 4 with X time left on the clock. I am actually hoping Colts get to kick a field goal to see/hear his reaction as to why a FG does not equal 4 points. The funny part about it is that he actually says, colts down 31-28 so its not like he has the score wrong....weird

Hmm. A phantom penalty that negates a big gain for the Jags isn't going to do much for NFL conspiracy theorists. I don't buy into that kind of stuff, but you may hear one or two stories about it come Monday. Err, Friday.

I never saw a replay of the false start to prove it did or did not happen. Thought that was odd.

They showed the replay immediately after and both Millen and other dude said "uhh...well, if it was, why didn't they stop the play?" A pretty good question.
Love getting negged for the above too. Looks like some typically insecure colts fans inhabit the board.

I'm always impressed with MJD and his running. Maybe I'm way off here, but wasn't the knock on him his size? I had it in my mind that Hart and MJD were similar. Maybe it's just my biased desire to see Hart make it in the NFL.

I agree. He doesn't seem a ton faster than Hart but it is noticeable. MJD is undeniably stronger as he is a beast to take down.
I'm a fan of both. Hope Hart keeps getting some reps to prove himself.

Going perfect should pretty much end most debate. Not to mention he still has a few more years after this to break pretty much every passing record, except the interception record.

with DreadlocksFast - Peyton will own every all time NFL record in the book that's worth owning for a QB (But will he catch Favre's consecutive start record?). At the end of the day, you're compairing steak and lobster - Brady and Manning are both hall of famers. We are lucky to be alive to see them play.
