OT - Marshall Henderson Suspended (Ole Miss BBall)
Mississippi has indefinitely suspended guard Marshall Henderson for a violation of team rules, the school announced Wednesday.
The suspension is a result of multiple failed drug tests, sources told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
... and Ole Miss knew that he was undisciplined and had numerous run-ins with the law.
Henderson came to Ole Miss with a history of discipline problems. He was arrested in both 2009 and 2011 and served time in jail after the second arrest because he violated his probation. Ole Miss has said the coaches were aware of Henderson's past when he signed with the program.
Marshall Henderson is an asshole. Just a real son of a bitch.
ass. The guy does not care that he does not get it. He really could use a wake up call to truly help himself, but nobody on that Ole Miss staff will do it.
I predict the D league coming up for this guy ala glen rice jr.
about him ever being investigated for multiple murders.
In due time.
This is a Michigan blog.
Just looking at the headline, my first thought was "That Borg fuck is going to be all over that like a cheap suit."
I clicked this link, only to se if he commented about it! lol
who's the borg?
A commenter whpo makes sure that he says "This is a Michigan blog" in every single topic that doesn't talk about Michigan football or basketball. He even gave me a little grief for doing a Hello topic for a hockey recruit.
Hopefully he got banned

You're Jean Valjean!
...and Javert can suck it.
I'm sure there's a scholly waiting for him in EL if he can't make it back to Ole Miss.
the most unsurprising piece of offseason news in cbb this year. I think Vegas had him at about 2-1 odds of being suspended for doing something idiotic before the 2013-14 season.
Like Most Universities the suspension will last all off-season
AND THEN MIRACULOUSLY HE WILL BE REINSTATED RIGHT BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS....
Im getting so sick of coaches and schools (Im looking at you Brian Kelly and Mark Dantonio) who continue this RUSE if acting like they take disciplinary action that is MEANINGLESS then proclaiming your zero tolerance
How is the weather up there on your high horse?
Has Michigan done the same thing recently? Honestly, if it has happened I'd like to know, but I don't remember anyone recently being suspended for just the offseason. Look at Hagerup, he's out for a year right? And that was just weed. I'm willing to bet Henderson has moved on to something a little stronger.
And geez man, the snarky comments are a real downer on what is supposed to be a fun place to discuss sports.
I'm just suprised, shocked, stunned, flabbergasted, amazed........................................that it took this long for him to get suspended for something.
huge last time I said something about Marshall Henderson during the NCAA touney....not sure why but I will say it again.
The guy is a piece of Sh&$
A piece of shoes? What does that mean?
I had to google who this was...
Hope he turns it around at some point.
Is that a race joke?
Because, seriously, white people are the worst.
Can't wait for his ESPN 30 for 30 documentary. It's going to be epic.
you will find enough interesting stuff about this guy to fill up a documentary.
He's a tool who happens to be decent at basketball and seems determined to throw away any and all opportunities he's been given in life. Is that really all that unique?
Per SBNation, Henderson may very well seek rehabilitation, although as the article points out, rehab requires "strength, focus and maturity", which Marshall Henderson doesn't seem to have in abundance. There was also this little gem:
"Ole Miss football player Denzel Nkemdiche posted a video to Instagram asking for Henderson's thoughts on the day, to which Henderson appeared to reply, "Sadness, ho," and then smiled to the camera. The video has since been removed, and Nkemdiche claimed his account was hacked."
Is being an obnoxious douchebag an Ole Miss team rule?
This is the SEC we're talking about folks. Indefinite suspension means he'll miss 5-10 non-conference games. Mark it down.
Sorry, don't know who this guy is - is this just a general sports story, or does he have some connection to UM? Don't care either way, just wondering if there's some connection I'm missing.
An SEC school with a student/athlete that has questionable character? This is truly groundbreaking news! Z
I am *shocked* that a guy like him would run afoul of team and/or school rules.
