A good offensive line is just the heart of everything on offense. We couldn’t even get near Aaron Rodgers to make him test that calf. We have to get more pass rush.

I HATE the Packers more than any other team in the NFL.  Pittsburgh is second.  No team ever played the packers IN GB and got a fair shake.

They like to do something good before they go back to a SOL play. Make a goal line stand then give up a punt for a score. Block a field goal and then immediately fumble.

Makes the bad plays ten times more painful.

He built the Lions into that.

Frankly, Jim Caldwell should not be retained. If not for Teryl Austin this team would have won 5 games. Lombardi and Bonamego have been disasters and Caldwell's paleoconservative gameplans have frequently put the Lions into a position to have to make comebacks.

Four come-from-behind wins over sub.500 teams is the difference between 11 wins this year and 7 last year. That isn't much improvement.

Teryl Austin should be the head coach next year. He has more than earned it.

How can you say that? Schwartz won ten games and Wayne Fontes 12. Inferior coaches do have miracle years and this happened to be it for Caldwell.

The Lions are worse on offense, but better defensively. The special teams are just as, if not, worse then they were under Schwartz. This team is in no way better then Schwartz ten win team. The discipline is still lacking and they still do incredibly stupid things on a regular basis.

Brady Hoke won 11 games his first year. We now know that was a mirage. The same is true for Jim Caldwell--a coach who succeeded  in Indy only because he had half-a-dozen HoFers on offense.

Oh and the Lions are still are a dirty football team.
