It should be a rule: If you can't figure out how to embed a youtube clip (which isn't that hard to do), then you shouldn't be creating a thread with only a youtube link in the OP.

Just when I'm in full-on hate Les Mile mode, he has to do this.
Touche, Les. You win this round.

Can't be in any sort of hate Les Miles mode this week, need LSU to beat Georgia.

wouldn't it be better if LSU loses? what would the chances be that two teams that didn't win their conference play for the MNC?
December 2nd, 2011 at 1:40 AM ^
At this point, 99.5%

The LSU game carries the most weight for M's chances of getting into the BCS. If Georgia wins it will be very difficult for M to get into the top 14 in the final standings. We need Georgia to get booted.

OK, I was looking at it from the perspective of it not being an all SEC MNC game. So from the perspective of UM getting a BCS game, I would agree that it is better for LSU to win. Although, recent history has shown that a loss to LSU does not equal a significant drop in the polls.

he's a twat.

Twitter = insight into all manner of medical / academic / psychological phenomena.
Thank you for another intriguing moment in the life of "The Mad Hatter".

He may be a bit crazy but you can't say he isn't entertaining.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:05 PM ^
It has to be. Pretty funny way to poke fun at the guy asking the question actually.

O rly?
December 1st, 2011 at 8:04 PM ^
I love Les Miles.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:56 PM ^
I love Les Miles, too, and it helps that he sorta looks like Bo.
December 1st, 2011 at 10:33 PM ^
Outside of his "when in Rome" oversigning policy, there's nothing not to love. He's hilarious.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:05 PM ^
I try to hate the guy, but I just can't.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:07 PM ^
That is a classic right there.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:07 PM ^
I know this board had a mild disliking for him but he just made made my day. That was definitely not coaches talk.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:16 PM ^
is flipping great. Hah!
December 1st, 2011 at 8:17 PM ^
= fun for the whole family

Les Miles might just be the most entertaining coach in college football. He is to me.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:28 PM ^
Love the guy. Glad he's not our coach doing and being so wacky but he really fits in well in Louisiana. Anyone who's ever been down there knows that state is full of interesting characters and it appears that they have been rubbing off on him over the years.

People don't like him because of oversigning, mostly.
December 1st, 2011 at 8:56 PM ^
I think of Les Miles as I think of Nick Saban (though slightly better since he went to Michigan). I don't know enough about either team's arrest records but do know that they both oversign, something I don't like. To me, neither give off a horrible vibe when being interviewed, though Saban is definitely a politician with the way he answers most questions.
Now please, somebody remind me why I hate Saban, because right now I don't remember. Afterall, I can't NOT hate him...

uhh no, everything you said about Saban is applicable to Miles, just to a lesser extent.
December 1st, 2011 at 9:11 PM ^
There are a lot of unsavory rumors about him, both from his time here in the 90's and from the recruiting trail.
December 1st, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
regarding him and Moeller are pretty distasteful. Dave Brandon mentioned "over his dead body" would Miles be coach, according to 3 and Out, so it seems that he did something in his time at Michigan to make an enemy out of a lot more folks than just Lloyd Carr.
Also, shame on you for calling Lloyd Carr an arrogant prick. You have no idea what Carr has done for this program.

You do?
December 2nd, 2011 at 7:21 AM ^
I got one idea, a national title
December 1st, 2011 at 10:35 PM ^
Gotta admit, the fact that Carr hates Miles so much makes me like LM even more.
Wonder if Lloyd watches LSU games stewing at his enemy's success.
December 2nd, 2011 at 12:07 AM ^
Probably not so much. I suspect he can sit around with a nice glass of red wine and enjoy an LSU game while admiring the glow of light from his fireplace off the replica 1997 National Championship trophy.

Holy shit.

"Do what you want!"
December 1st, 2011 at 9:04 PM ^
Anyone else notice that Les Miles' accent has gradually morphed into some kind of southern-midwestern hybrid hillbilly drawl?
December 1st, 2011 at 9:59 PM ^
It fits in perfectly with his schtick as America's dumbest genius.
December 1st, 2011 at 9:11 PM ^
I stared in wonder until the second viewing, not quite convinced it was a joke. Fantastically executed. I'm going to begin a diet of straight Zoysiagrass C4.
December 1st, 2011 at 9:13 PM ^
He is one nutty fucker.
December 1st, 2011 at 9:19 PM ^
How can someone hate a guy who eats grass on national tv?
