OT: Henne Vs. Brady, Who do you root for?
I know this is a little late, but I thought I would get MGoblogs opinion as it is the only one that counts in my book. So who do you root for, Henne or Brady??
It is hard to go against Henne since he is so new to the NFL, but Brady is at the top of all my arguments for who Michigan has produced as a top NFL star.
What do you say??

Henne - Brady's already respected as an elite NFL QB. And, come on. He plays for the f***ing Patriots.

I am a Redskins fan so this game has no bearing on my team at all. Therefore I root for both of them. Could careless who wins the game.

Denard. If you are rooting for Michigan players in the NFL you don't have an NFL team or you deny to have one (i.e. Lions fans).

Its perfectly possible to have a favorite NFL team and still root for certain players.

Offense, plain and simple. You don't have to root against either--they're not on the field at the same time.

Yup. I'm hoping for an exciting, offense-heavy game. If I had to choose, I hope Henne does well, since he was at Michigan during my college years and his young NFL career could always use a boost. But I say, go QBs!

Like urbanachiever just said, Brady is a well established NFL qb. While it seems like Henne has been getting a lot more love lately, he's still relatively new to the NFL, and I'd like to see him get even more attention. I think a win by the Dolphins would get them, and Henne, a lot of positive news, and a big game by Chad would get him a ton of cred.
But, either way, GO BLUE!

I love seeing Tom Brady and the Patriots succeed. The Pat's are much more likely to contend for a ring this year, so I would just as soon see them win tonight and going forward. Think about it this way: the more rings Brady piles up, the more he solidifies himself as our answer to Joe Montana.
...On second thought, maybe my hate for ND has permiated too much of my life.

I have 3 fantasy teams: one has Brady, one has Henne, and the third is playing against Henne. I need Brady to have a huge game for me to win, while I need nothing from Henne since I've won that match-up. Henne can screw me with a good game in the third match-up. Fantasy makes you a nutcase.

I hope they both do well. But I would like to see Henne win the game on a last second 50 yard bomb, because I'm sick of the Patriots. It would even be better if they threw Jake in the backfield for one play to score the winning touchdown at the goal line - fridge style. I would just love to see who would try to step up and stop him....:O)
