OT: The Guy Who Busted Urban Meyer

Submitted by FauxMo on October 8th, 2021 at 10:55 AM

I know, people are tired of the Urban Meyer story. But the story of the guy largely responsible for outing him with the two videos is actually pretty interesting. Here is the full story:

https://www.foxbusiness.com/sports/electrician-shocked-nfl-videos-urban-meyer

The guy is a big OSU fan, and he actually used to write for Elevenwarriors at one point, but was not a fan of Urban. He turned on Meyer after the Zack Smith story and the university response. He got the first video and posted it under a burner Twitter account. Someone then sent him the second, more obvious "hoo-ha touching" video and posted that too (after thinking, "there were two shooters in the club that night???").

Also, he ran for the state house of representatives in Ohio, and apparently robbed some drug dealers in Montana. Fascinating guy. He lives in Columbus, and my guess is that he is going to receive some "strongly worded" emails from the OSU faithful after being revealed in this story...

First off, I don’t think anyone around here is tired of the urban Meyer story.

Secondly, this guy gave a gift to the whole world with his burner tweets. DJ Byrnes, you deserve a moniker for your strong work: DJ Burner, slot cornerback.

I think the poster that suggested he play fullback is the butt of that joke. Barret looks pretty good when he gets in, he got the first down on the fake punt against Washington and he had a really good hit against Wisconsin back when he got in.

I hope he’s able to get some more playing time. Dude plays intense when he’s in the game.

Just a point of clarification, though: Spinner Meyer posted a photo of herself at home with the grandkids while Urban was out overtaking a**. Does that mean that he was flat-out lying about eating out with the grandkids, or did they have a meal and go home?

I reluctantly agree with people who say that if the Meyers have sex lives outside their marriage it's none of our business. But cringy drunken videos and lies are another story. Because of that, the question of whether he was just completely lying about the grands or whether that part was honest seems important to me. Or like it might be important to his employers.

I agree, but if there sex lives and lies become public because they can't seem to get their stories straight, and he can't wait till he's in private to start doodling his girlfriends butt hole that's on them. Now we know why they jumped to Zack Smith's defense.

Yes, while the behavior and decision making is reprehensible, it is how he (or his unscrupulous and clearly unintelligent lawyer) always comes up with an excuse and lie to make him out to be an innocent victim. This happened in Gainesville. We saw it multiple times in Columbus (Zack Smith, brain cyst). This isn’t even the first time we saw it in Jacksonville (hiring Iowa coach). He makes terrible decisions, some of them are disgusting and morally bankrupt decisions, while others are just foolish. But the thing that ties them all together is the ridiculous and sanctimonious lie when he gets caught.

The guy almost certainly has NPD (narcissistic personality disorder), it’s how he’s gotten through his entire life and it’s why he is uncomfortable if he loses any amount of control of any situation and therefore devises a lie and victimizes himself although he is the one doing the victimizing….empathy and humility are literally foreign concepts to him.

TBH, I don't think he was knowingly lying just because he would've been dead-to-rights caught if he was.  His wife would've called him out for lying.  If the wife didn't care, the people who took the videos would've called him out for lying.  If not them, one of the dozens of other witnesses in the restaurant.  He either misspoke or his grandkids were there earlier.  Or his genuinely an idiot that can't foresee three steps ahead of his lie.  I refuse to believe the latter because imagine your football team getting whooped every year by an idiot who can't plan three moves ahead in a chess game.

On that topic, Urban almost certainly knew the "dancing woman" before that night, as others pointed out earlier this week. She works for the media and marketing company that works for Urban's Chophouse (where the video was shot, and which Meyer partially owns). Urban's "strangers trying to get me to dance" story is pure bullshit, shockingly:

Lemme see if I got this straight:

• Meyer used his grandchildren as an excuse for bumping butts with the woman

• She earlier posted a question asking who this guy flirting with her was (or was that someone else?)

• She works for the company that works for Meyer

• The company is conducting an “investigation” into some nebulous “impact on the company,” which sounds like a way to avoid commenting or making a decision until it finds out if anyone powerful is mad at them. If so, she’s fired because she was trying to seduce him. If not, she keeps her job because the whole thing is harmless.

Isn’t Ohio big on taking responsibility for your actions?

He once got in trouble for allegedly trying to rob some drug dealers in Montana. He took classes at Ohio State, though he never graduated, and still roots for the football team. He ran for the Ohio state House of Representatives and lost, garnering just 24.5% of the vote.

I feel like this is the perfect background profile for “Ohio Man”.
