85 players + 10 coaches + 22 training staff = 117
I don't think there are that many people on the training staff.
Also if there is one...Avatar...if you will that could cause it to rain like hell, yours would be the one.
where making it rain in said establishment would result in a particularly good outcome for all the patrons

Thankfully they are not on the B1G's expansion radar.

Calvin Johnson went there before Paul Johnson and the triple option arrived but yes I agree.
What is your picture of?

Yeah, but I don't trust those inflated ticket-sales counts.
They noted that ASU had 8,500 this weekend........an all-time record.
If you knew what the girls at ASU looked like you wouldn't go to a spring football game either
This is the same school who's practice field literally blew on to the highway during a windy day a few years ago, so I do find the fact that anyone goes their spring game absolutely incredible.
that usually accompanies General Admission seating probably scared a lot of people away.
The Varsity that number was doubled.
Same front passed thru bama too.
1. They did it on a Friday night, and why they did that, I dont know
2. It was raining
3. I had a friend that went, and said there were at least 800-1200 people there by his estimation, just that everyone was under an overhang or in the concourse when this picture was taken.
in that case....
reveals that at least 500 people hid out under the stands, obviously trying to stay out of rain.
Friday night, unseasonably cold weather, driving rain, and a bad team. I'm not surprised.
I'd also like to point out that the source for this information is an obscure sports blog citing "social media."
How is this even possible? I would expect 117 people to sneak into a closed scrimmage.
Georgia Tech's SBNation site, "From The Rumble Seat", had some very nice suggestions to boost their spring game attendance actually. My personal favorite was based on the idea that since Falcons fans will pack the GeorgiaDome for two preseason games, dress in Falcons uniforms, then find an opponent either real or made of a team collected from campus, and very few people would be able to tell the difference.
Seriously though, an intrasquad scrimmage in awful weather on a Friday in Atlanta's traffic seemed like a doomed idea from the beginning.
for the Techies, weather aside. If the school decides to try it again next year they need to go to the streets and beg people to come, some alumnus who owns a resteraunt should give away free hot dogs, do something. That could even hurt recruiting worse than being in the same state as the Georgia Bulldogs.

Careful about making fun of other folks' offenses . . . we live in the glassiest of glass houses. At least they can run the ball forward.
Georgia Tech should host a sorority mud-wrestling tournament after the spring game next year... wait nevermind... it is a "Tech" school afterall.
schools start to lobby for playing an oppenent for spring games.
Only a matter of time.

I would like this.
