OSU tix available on mgoblue.com

Submitted by Row26 on

Just happened to check MGoBlue.com and saw that they posted a link this morning for single tickets to the OSU game. For anyone who just needs one seat, here's your chance to get it for face value ($75 including fees). They're good seats, too -- when I searched it came up with one ticket in row 82 on the 50-yard line and another one in Row 1 on the 20-yard line. (I didn't buy either one though, as I already have my tickets.)

Single seats still available Penn State, too. www.mgoblue.com/tickets

So, we all know that it's pretty much first come, first serve in the student section. I presume they are much stricter about this in all the other sections?

I just snatched up 2 tics but in pretty different sections. I'm trying to figure out whom I should give the second tic to. If strict rule then some guy friend; if lenient rule then prob ask my father to fly in. Experiences on this?

Btw, thanks to the OP.

The stadium gets much stricter outside of the student section, and especially considering this is the OSU or PSU game you should count on sitting in your actual seat.

If it's not too late my suggestion would have been to pick a section and try to get 2 seats in it. At the game take the ticket for the higher row, sit in it and try to find someone else in the row who is willing to swap for the ticket in the lower row. This has worked for me in the past. It works really well when you're in row 80 and offering someone in a ticket in row 20 or so.

For the WMU game my parents and I went with my dad's doctor friend and his wife, who had two tickets in a different row in the same section. We found two elder-teenage guys near us and asked if they wouldn't mind moving so we could all sit together. Then we slipped them a five and they moved without a blink.

I'm sure the price goes up with age and number of beers consumed...

SHAME on you for posting a picture of a guy in a Buckeye rugby shirt!

Actually, I had the name before anyone knew who Topher Grace was, and before he even went by it. I'm sure I'll get negged for this too, but the truth seems to offend on MGoBlog of late.

We had friends going with us who were just going to tailgate but was able to nab two tickets for them, both section 40, which is where ours are. One of them got row 1, the other 17, and we're in 11. Thanks again! Go Blue!

How likely is it that the OSU game will be a 3:30? I really dislike the noon games and while I'm not one of those people pushing for a night game, I'd still like it to be a little later. Everything builds up better, and if GameDay's there we'll have our shot to scream at Corso.

I've discovered during the last few seasons that a few weeks before most games, even the big ones like MSU and OSU, the ticket office generally dumps a bunch of "leftovers" onto the site at seemingly random times. I'm guessing they're generally the result of situations like three seats together being available originally, but someone only buys two, leaving one by itself, but I have no idea if that's really the case. Usually it's been single seats like this available but occasionally they'll have pairs together.

Since 2006, I've gotten great seats (often Section 1 or 23) to a bunch of games, including MSU and Wisconsin, just by checking mgoblue.com/tickets occasionally throughout the season. Ironically, this is also how I've discovered that the crowd on the 50-yard line is so boring and quiet that I'd rather sit more toward the corners.

This year, I got the "All In" pack that they offered during the summer so I have all my tickets already but just wanted to make sure as many M fans get into The Game as possible (before OSU people discover the Internet and buy them instead).

My personal belief is that this poster, Row26, deserves MULTIPLE UPBANGS for sharing this information with fellow mgobloggers.

Note: please do not tell any OSU fans about this. We don't want them at the game, in our house.

It might be worth trying an mgoblog get together for this one as it looks like a few of us got seats. We could "exchange" our single tickets among each other to get closer to others in our groups or just giggle like schoolgirls about how great Brian is.... just a thought.

I can't believe how many Row B tickets are available. Although in the corner I prefer to be 15-20 rows up as it gives you better depth perception on the field.

Looks like they just ran out (or they just don't like me). Thanks for the info, Row26. Just wish I'd gotten home faster.

EDIT: Also looks like they are out of PSU for now.

I bought two more tickets than i need today and am willing to sell them for face value, as apparently it's illegal to sell tickets for more than face value in michigan.

one is on the 50 yard line section 1 row 89 and one is on the 15 yard line section 20 row 12. great seats to any of my mgoblog brothers if you want them. contact me via email [email protected]
