Can someone link me to the bylaws or give a really quick explanation about where the line is for alums contacting recruits? I've always been a little curious about it. For example: TomVH used to (maybe still does) run a recruiting website and contacted recruits with questions about their interest in Mich. I could see how one could argue that he's using his (for profit?) website in order to benefit Michigan. |

The Giants executed this perfectly. Throw 3-5 extra defenders out there and you risk the offense taking notice and spiking the ball, chewing little time and giving them 5 free yards and the down back. FYI Smart Football did a piece on this last year. Bradley interviewed for the job. If you ask me PSU made a calculated decision to hire outside of the program.
Their alumni base needs to wise up and back O'Brien quick. Quotes like these will lead to a sharp decine for PSU:

Thanks for sharing this. The NCAAF stat doesn't surprise me much, however, the MiLB placement is very surprising. Small/ mid-sized American cities leaning Dem? Wouldn't have guessed that. In related news, for any East Coasters, the deal to move a Tigers MiLB affiliate to Norwich, CT was finalized today. |
