Still doesn't answer whether the stadium was responsive after it was struck by lightning. Hope it's okay! |

Agree with karpodiem, yes you've got a great shot (although I'm hoping you were asking just for self-assurance and not evaluating your odds before deciding whether to apply - you should definitely apply). With respect to the tuition difference between Michigan and State - granted I'm biased, but an in-state education at the University of Michigan is possibly the best value you can find in post-secondary education in the country. Yes, it's more expensive, but the opportunities that will be opened for you at Michigan will be far greater than at State. Just look at the companies that recruit on campus at Michigan versus the ones that recruit at Michigan State - it takes much less effort to get in front of the recruiters at top tier organizations when you go to Michigan than when you go to Michigan State. Not to say that it's impossible coming from Michigan State, but you have to be much more proactive and get "luckier" when reaching out to organizations that aren't recruiting on campus. Best of luck to you! |

Woohoo! By the way, I think the "Stats" section might be pulling from Wayne Morgan's info. |

Easy there. I've got two family members who are faculty there, one of whom has two degrees from Michigan and is a Michigan fan. When you're in academia, you go where you can find a job (any industry really, but even moreso in academia). |

To be clear, that $2 million figure was from 2007 when an investor group initially acquired the website. The Cheezburger network (incl. Failblog, etc) recently raised $30 million in venture capital financing and I'm going to guess the pre-money valuation was significantly higher than $2 million. |

The article itself says: "Well, Detroit, go ahead and let us have it: You are officially the most spitting-mad metropolis." Methinks they have a poor numbering system and really did mean that 100th angriest = 1st angriest. Plus, there's no way Burlington, VT is the angriest city. You can't be angry in Vermont! |
