OK I'M DONE WITH SIX ZERO

Submitted by mbrummer on

What a pathetetic display Six Zero put up today.  His defense against vs Home furnishings was UNACCEPTABLE.  His coaching is completely to blame for the lack of stopping his wife's offense.

His MAN DEFENSE versus Woman's apparel was reprehensible.  He committed stupid penalties and couldn't get out of the store whehter it was the Ann Taylor Loft or White House.  If he doesn't fire his defensive coordinater , We will never win the games on Wife Saturdays.  HIS DEFENSE RANKS LAST IN YARDS PER PURCHASE.  He's a Big 10 person with a Big 10 defense.  Until he gets rid of that weak stack defense and gets a REAL BIG 10 DEFENSE . WE WILL NEVER WIN ON WIFE SATURDAY!!

On offense, he didnt even try the special plays to get to the electronics stores.  He just used the same plays , he always uses.  When are we going to see a wrinkle.  Six Zero's offesne just cant work against Wife Day.  Until he runs an OLD SCHOOL offense, we don't have a chance.  How long until he goes with the starter last year?

On special teams, he was horrible.  Only got some some socks.  Couldnt kick for the big electronics item.  Made stupid mistakes.  This all comes down to coaching.  Six Zero has to be held responsible for everything that happened Today!!!!!!  HE HAS TO GO!!

Ahhh, but you failed to consider the points that he accumulated with the wifey that he'll cash in later tonight.  And I don't mean Chase Freedom points.

Living here in Oregon I have seen proven Wife Day strategies being played out all around me, I think it is obvious that SIx Zero needs to look to the west coast to bolster his offense. The Oregon Wife Day experience is everything that has been promised and more. The ability of wives to wear those ridiculous outfits and still get their husbands to say they look pretty has come up huge every week.  The wrinkles that have been installed by the offense, and the ability to steer the offense towards Best Buy at will is something that seems to be almost routine in Oregon.

It has become glaringly obvious that Six Zero needs to look to Oregon to more fully develop his offense and improve by next Wife Day.

Until I see the UFR I'm not going to judge Six Zero. Not to make any excuses but the weather was beautiful this weekend and even without football the urge to do some Yard Work had to be strong. Also, he is newly married and his wife is prone to making stupid proclomations and rash judgements that a more experienced wife would save for Holiday weekends when his options are much more limited. I think he did pretty well with what he had to work with, and by next season, with the added experience and off-season conditioning, things could be much better.

If all goes well, by this time next season he could actually enjoy a Big Game in which he has the dream Saturday featuring a 6 a.m. blow job, breakfast in bed, 4 hours of tailgating with his best buddies (while his wife sits home knitting him a dick warmer), The Game itself featuring a 31-7 spanking of OSU, a DD ride home, and finishing off with a brandy on the couch watching the tail end of the Alabama-LSU game on TV.

I think Six Zero needs a bit more time to implement his program.

Six Zero doesn't yet have all the parts to succesfully run the new system, and he needs time. Although the lack of electronics is disappointing, I've been a Six Zero supporter since day one, and this shakes me, but you've got to let him get his parts into the new system!

He hasn't brought in the necessary 4 and 5 star shopping defensive excuses that would enable someone in his position to excel at controlling the wife at the store. It just takes time.

That's because he didn't execute his assignment, which is to keep contain. I think, when this exchange is picture-paged, you'll see that he took a step to the inside of the 40%-off sweater display near the door, and by doing so he sealed himself toward the middle of the checkout register.

I'm sure GERG didn't coach him to do that!!

I remember the days when Six Zero would crush Ann Taylor and Marshall Fields.  This new fangled "outlet shopping" isn't going to work.  He needs to get back to tough shopping - like when people use "lay-away" or "catalogs".  This type of shopping will never work in Big Ten country.

I have been a SIX ZERO supporter from the start and a staunch critic of the old guard saying we need a change, but this is officially a garbage relationship. All you SIX ZERO apologists need to open your eyes. He has had one good year of marriage, but the honeymoon phase is over. He has had time to get his kids into the system but has repeatedly failed produce results. Whether this is a practice issue or one of going soft when the pressure is on doesn't matter.

The sooner all you morons stop making excuses for his bullsh*t and realize we need to get rid of SIX ZERO the sooner we can get Magnus in there and start fixing the culture of losing that has started to permeate here.

Just wait until he gets his credit cards in the system. The tables will turn. He is working out a sweet APR with Amex that will allow him to get that 55" Samsung at low, low interest. That's when his true value will come. BE PATIENT.

Some further thoughts:

  • Six Zero quotes the Lion King, whereas Mrs. Six Zero's former boyfriend used to quote Kipling and had the OED on a small table outside his office.
  • Six Zero doesn't understand that although all stores are important, he has an historic rivalry with Abercrombie and Fitch and Dick's Sporting Goods.
  • Six Zero tried to give the #1 salesperson jersey to a stock clerk.
  • Six Zero has a funny accent.

I saw a lot of promise out there today. Even though he wasn't able to extricate himself from Bed, Bath and Beyond, some of his distractions showed real talent. Give him two years working on fundamentals and gaining some maturity, and I think he has a great shot of going undefeated on Wife Day in 2012.

GTFO troll! Six Zero represents this university whether you like it or not. What Six Zero needs right now is our support... your negativity ISN'T HELPING. Seriously you think you're picking out things Six Zero doesn't already realize... he's been doing his thing, with an FBS wife for YEARS. You idiots think you can diagnose what's wrong with a guys defense because you once played a few downs with your fat little girlfriends in high school. If you knew anything you'd know that the attrition has KILLED Six Zero's talent level. That can only be cured with time and recruiting, but your negativity is HURTING RECRUITING. THIS MAKES ME SO ANGAR. Your negativity is a CANCER to this board, the fan base and the program. Screw you.

Also, mods, please bump the point total to start threads to at least 50,000.

A lot of Six Zero's strategies can work in the realm of online shopping, but he HAS to understand that this is the Outlet Mall.  You need to be mentally and physically strong to be successful at the outlet.  You need to game plan that.  There's no time for comparison shopping, there's no time to fumble around with the map when the warm September breezes turn into the chilling winds of November and he's schlepping around in the sleet and the snow.

He just don't get it.  The new fangled ways aren't going to cut it here.  We need someone who understands outlet shopping.  Someone who cut their teeth at Birch Run, who has eaten a pound of bacon from Tony's in the morning, and a full Frankenmuth dinner in the evening.  Someone who knows the Michigan traditions and holds them dear.

Six Zero is a good man, an honorable man, but he's not the right man for this program.

How can you even call yourself a fan?! YOU HAVE TO HAVE FAITH. I'm glad you "fans" are jumping off the bandwagon. GOOD RIDDANCE, WE ARE BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU. I personally am confident Six Zero will spend 100% of his remaining disposable income this year on electronics and beer.

I AM NOT JUMPING OFF THE BANDWAGON!!  i love this program! Six Zero is not the answer.  his offense only works against small teams!! It deonst matter if he spends all his money on beer ane elelctronics  if he can't win the big ones!!!!

that SIX ZERO had been browsing nearby the Best Buy store and staking out possible purchases for longer than the amount of time legally allotted each day by league rules.  These rules violations are UNACCEPTABLE in such a storied program such as SIX ZERO'S.  Who does he think he is?  Mrs. SIX ZERO's ex-boyfriend ran a clean program.  He would never use a checkout clerk with an arrest record, let me tell you.

Hold on.  We all know that the reports of the extended purchase consideration time came from a columnist for Nobody Beats The Wiz's internal newsletter who clearly has an axe to grind with Best Buy and Six Zero.  We have just as many people at Best Buy saying that Six Zero was focused and on task and simply didn't turn in his paper work.  They eventually tracked him down on his extended warranty, but now the damage is done.

It's frustrating, because we know every guy in the country lingers in front of various purchases at Best Buy for an extended period of time.  Six Zero just happened to get caught by someone who has an agenda.

He's recruiting a much better caliber of store. Didn't you see how he had steal good shot of landing Best Buy? Boze? He just needs time to get his kinda store in. All he has now is a Radio Shack kiosk at the mall across from Forever 21, and it's only been open for one season. It didn't even get to redshirt.

Did you see that guy who six-zero was talking to in the parking lot? The guy with the real swagger and dragging his wife into Best Buy? A domineering, no-nonsense dude with no patience for wife day? Yes Please.

This thread inspired me to, after reading the site for about a couple years (since i started attending umich) sign up with an account. I laughed multiple times.

For the record, I don't think SixZero's offense will be as effective closer to the post thanksgiving shopping season. The cold makes the spread less effective...

I refuse to go crazy one way or the other without first seeing the UFR. I know if we will be patient till wed we will all see what really happened instead of overreacting like this.
