Gallon is a lock for Big Ten Player of the Year.. Impossible to cover..most likely he will be in NYC come Heisman time. Then, he becomes Steve Smith In the NFL.

Good grief. Another burner for the dark side.

So I was the long snapper down in Houston for my vaunted HS team a 100 years ago. I broke my finger before the big Memorial High game. I assumed chaos, havoc and certain doom would ensue without my unique skill..they just spent the week teaching Lawrence Bismeyer how to do it and nobody gave a rat's ass that I couldn't play.
|1 year 30 weeks ago||I think the only important||
I think the only important thing in the article is where Smith says he's not sure if the violations will be considered primary. If it's just more minor stuff, then "nothing to see here." I assume we will hear quite a bit more about this tomorrow.
|1 year 30 weeks ago||One primary||
That's all they need. Just one of the twelve, and boom goes the dynamite!
|1 year 40 weeks ago||Ok. I'll play.||
Here's a random thought on doing bracket pools. They should all add bonus points for the difference in seeds, when you pick an upset. Drives me crazy these pools that use the ol 1 point first round, 2 points second round, 4 points 3rd round, on up to 32 or even 64 points for picking the winner. They are all about getting the Final 4 correct. They give you no incentive to pick an upset. Now, if you got 5 bonus points for nailing the 11 beating the 6, that would make it more fun. The first 4 days are the best of the tournament, so let's make the brackets weighted a little more early toward the early rounds.

I was just saying that the Bucknuts guys think Conley has the best cover skills in Ohio. They did say that Burrows is more physical. What the hell do I know? I just find it interesting that he would garner such high praise from Bucknuts, of all places.

FWIW, the guy who puts together the Bucknuts Top 50 just loves Conley. Says he is a better cover corner than Burrows. "His athleticism and ball skills are the best in Ohio, no question."

Nebraska, TCU, Zona, or UCLA for Devin.

RR's fortunes could possibly get quite a boost, if he can land the electric QB from New Jersey. I hope he gets him!

It sounded like the Prosecution does not know the identity of Victim#2? Sandusky's attorney says they "think we know the identity"? Of course they do. Sandusky would obviously know him. Sounded like they can pressure the poor kid into not testifying, without anyone protecting him, because the Prosecution doesn't know his name.. My point is how could Penn State not even have investigated enough to find out the victim's name?

I always think of him with this topic.

I've lost all faith in them ever seeing LOIC. In fact, I'm starting to feel as if all that popcorn we enjoyed was pointless.

Payton, Diggs, and even Shaq Thompson talk, all after 11:00pm? I'm gonna have to stick that Powerball tomorrow, because getting up for work is becoming ridiculously difficult.. Holy Buckets this place is addictive.

PSU games are a difficult watch.
|2 years 22 weeks ago||K. Sorry||
Sorry. Even worse, I posted the exact same thing at the end of the last thread on it, but it seemed like everyone was done with the thread. I guess I'm seeing something more in this SAOF stuff that is not there. Please delete.
|2 years 22 weeks ago||Gotta get deeper||
The problem is not the fact that they used the SAOF to pay for an auto repair, in and of itself. What seems ridiculously far fetched is that Archie would ok a payment to Auto Direct in April..April! I don't see that being a smart play by compliance unless they were up against it with the loaner situation. I mean Archie had just fallen all over himself saying he had never spoken to Auto Direct about anything, only to have Kniffen refute that by, oh about 100 calls! Maybe I'm crazy, but no way in heck would Archie ok a payment above the usual $500 limit unless he was in "oh crap" mode about the phantom auto repairs that are the supposedly legit reason for the slew of tricked out loaner cars cruising around the athletic department..Dollars to doughnuts he knew they needed an invoice.
|2 years 22 weeks ago||Huh, thanks!||
My first insightful, and I'm half in the bag right now.
|2 years 22 weeks ago||Hmmm||
My guess is the car repair payment will be the smoking gun. I can't imagine that Archie would have decided it was a good idea to pay a $600 bill in April, considering the climate of the day. More likely, I would assume, was the little problem of a loaner car being given out during exhaustive auto repairs that were never done..."Uh, Auto Direct?, yeah, It's Archie. I'm going to need an invoice for those phantom repairs"
|2 years 23 weeks ago||Congrats||
Your excitement was to fun to read. Best of luck with everything.
|2 years 26 weeks ago||Musberger||
If there is anyone more despised for first rate, quality work than Brent Musberger, I can't think of him. I will forever be confused why he is not thought of in the same light as the other greats.. Professional, prepared, witty, entertaining, and yet, universally loathed. His "you are looking live", and "when you come back" always make any old rat game more exciting in my view.. Plus his inevitable reference to the point spread is pretty funny. I'll take him and Herbie over most anyone. I assume I'll stand alone on that take.
|2 years 27 weeks ago||You win||
|2 years 27 weeks ago||We claim 3||
My family can stake 3 somewhat interesting claims. In no particular order:
Patrick Henry- He of "Give me Liberty or Give me Death" fame
Bernie Boland- Tiger Pitcher who once fanned Babe Ruth 3 times in a game with his wicked 12-6 curve.
My Granfather- Said to have survived nearly 14 years on only Gin/Tonic.
|2 years 27 weeks ago||Hmmm||
I'm not sure of all the rules, but I think these three can safely be appiled: a) anytime or place with a #1 (which will always be A.C. to me) or # 2 UM jersey, b) at a game, or c) at a skank pick-up bar Downriver.
