Ohio State uses "TUN" on the schedule for the NC Trophy

Submitted by mrkid on

Ohio State really got us this time! Instead of putting "Michigan" on the schedule of their National Championship trophy, they really showed us by putting "TUN". Ouch.

they are engaging in a 3rd-grade name-calling contest with no one?  This is on par with the people that use O$U, Urban Liar or Walverine.

This is the trophy version of Geroge Constanza delivering this "insult":

This is one of the things that Brady got right. They are ohio as they call themselves ohio all the freaking time, not ohio state:

1) When they score a touchdown, their cheerleaders bring out flags on the field that spell:

2) There fans spell:

3)  Their band spells out a script:

4)  Their stadium is called:

5) Their fight song says…”Fight the team across the field, Show them Ohio's here….”

So if they want to be called Ohio State, can't they just spell the extra 5 freaking letters!

Their damn band spells "Ohio" at halftime. They sing about "Ohio" in their songs. They wear shirts that say "Ohio." And, by the way, Hoke didn't start that as a put-down. The only joke was the fact that everyone there seemed to take it as a huge insult that Michigan's coach called them the same thing they often call themselves.

The dude has basically put his life on the line for this team by ignoring a heart problem and coming out of medical retirement to guide them to a national championship! Pretty sure he can do whatever he wants and they will love him forever. Look how they treat Tressel!

He's not putting his "life on the line by ignoring a heart problem".

He's had some serious medical issues, including esophageal spasms that caused unexplained chest pains.   If left untreated I do believe this stuff could cause heart issues, but he's obviously being properly treated now and I don't believe he's putting his "life on the line" by coaching.    It's not like he's actually had a heart attack or something.

I think he was being sarcastic. But I do appreciate you defending Urban's legitimate medical condition. It seems unusual so many Michigan Men think it's totally hilarious to make fun of someone's potentially life altering medical issues, while they argue the relieve classlessness of using a nickname on a trophy that has nothing to do with them.
