Not that it matters here, but Luke McCaffrey transfers to Louisville.
This is an even bigger indictment of Scott Frost. He isn't even playing for his dad. Maybe he didn't like the competition.

Obviously he doesn't want to play with his brother.

Because I have basketball on the brain (I mean, who doesn't?), I thought his was one of Fran McCaffery's kids transferring from Iowa to Louisville.

Wonder where he will go after Louisville?

Vandy's a short drive

Lexington even shorter

We're the leaders for Tathan.

If only there was a way to delineate topics that are don't matter or are somewhat off topic...

Luke is a poor mans Lamar Jackson, struggles with passing but electric in the run game. Should be fun to see how he develops under Satterfield.
February 22nd, 2021 at 4:37 PM ^
If by poor you mean homeless, sure.
February 22nd, 2021 at 5:04 PM ^
Lamar Jackson was a much better passer than people give him credit for, and was immensely better of a runner as well. Like, McCaffrey is a talented guy but his brother also struggled throwing the ball and relied on his legs and, unfortunately, teams figure that out pretty quickly.
February 22nd, 2021 at 2:06 PM ^
Northern Colorado wouldn't make much sense either though. Why would he go to a QB room that just added his brother?
February 22nd, 2021 at 2:09 PM ^
I thought he joined the army?

Isn't that Apollo Creed's son in the background?

Nah you're mistaken. It's Black Panther's cousin.

It absolutely matters...to Scott Frost's mom.

Not that it matters here,
The new OT.
February 22nd, 2021 at 3:52 PM ^
I wondered how long it would take for an "OT" reference/snark. 35+ minutes surprised me. I would have taken the under on ten minutes. The blog is either growing indifferent to this or too giddy from yesterday to care.

I mean, we could always just shorten it to NTIMH:

"He helped beat Penn State but played poorly in a loss against Illinois and returned to a reserve role behind Adrian Martinez before opting in January to transfer."
When the going gets tough, the McCaffreys get going...into the portal.
February 22nd, 2021 at 2:40 PM ^
Is NTIMH the new OT?
February 22nd, 2021 at 2:56 PM ^
is this really an indictment of Frost, though? The McCaffrey kids apparently are prone to transferring, he wasn't that great at QB for them this year. This seems like a typical, mundane transfer scenario in 2021.
February 22nd, 2021 at 3:06 PM ^
I had been of the opinion that Satterfield would be a good option if they moved on from Harbaugh. This past offseason maybe changed that thinking.
February 22nd, 2021 at 3:59 PM ^
I live in the Louisville area, and (I can assure you) nobody here is enamored with Satterfield.

The frosting on the cake
February 22nd, 2021 at 5:00 PM ^
I thought Louisville had a decent starter already in place at QB? I'll admit to not watching them a ton but Cunningham seemed like a decent player with some upside with another year of the same staff. I assume he's thinking longer-term but they also are bringing in another transfer QB this cycle (though admittedly lower-ranked).
Anyway, not going to see him so not a big deal.
February 22nd, 2021 at 7:19 PM ^
If only there was a place that defined what is and is not off topic, then maybe we would all know this is not off topic. Oh wait......
February 22nd, 2021 at 7:29 PM ^
Geez, I was looking forward to beating a resurgent Nebraska team. If it weren't for the paycheck I might feel sorry for Scott Frost.

Crap. I had such a nice streak going and then I clicked on a picture to get a double post.
