This will be your place for snowflakes regarding the overall coaching.

I don't know why you are getting down-voted. The switch is going to happen at some point, but my fear is it's going to be too late...after we are down too big in a game to make a comeback, or after we already have lost a few games.

Cade has been a solid game manager and Michigan is undefeated, but Michigan is not winning games because of him. To be fair, they also have not lost a game because of him, which is probably the biggest reason Harbaugh isn't pulling the trigger. You can get away against lesser competition, but you can't continually miss opportunities to score against good opponents and expect to win.

Oklahoma, an undefeated team, switched to a freshman quarterback. He has made his share of mistakes, but without the switch, Oklahoma does not beat Texas. Saban made the switch from Hurts to Tua in the National Championship game. John Harbaugh made the switch from Flacco to Lamar, hell Jim Harbaugh made the switch from Alex Smith to Kaep. All of those players brought more potential to the offense than the predecessor, even though they all come with their own flaws.

Mere game management is an effective strategy when you have superior talent.  When you have equal or less than talent, you need to rely on other things.

But I also believe in the importance of easing a freshman into the position.  Which I think this has been done this season.  I trust Harbaugh to manage this situation wisely.

I agree with this comment completely, but I will add an observation. It has become obvious that the upside is more limited than I had hoped with this approach. JH needs to be playing JJ more and opening up the offense more when he is in the game. I don't see a team on the schedule we have no chance against using the current strategy until the last game of the year. We have zero chance to win that game with this lack of a passing game and/or QB run threat.

If you're too scared to have Cade throw the ball past the LOS in the red zone, either bench him or just run the ball. Those stupid swing passes outside are not fooling anyone and keep getting blown up.

They let him take shots downfield in the first half, but he was just having an off day. He's usually better than that, but as Klatt said, he wasn't taking advantage of the leverage the receivers had in their 1-1 coverage.

There were a couple of other deep throws to Sainristil where he seemed to slow up for the ball unnecessarily only to see the ball sail over his head to more or less where he would have been if he'd run through it.

How annoying was Joel Klatt?   Any other team and he would have praised them against NW.

The problem for Michigan is and has always been OSU.  No matter how well we do, it is OSU.  It is Franky sad and annoys me.  Nothing matters.  Everything is relative to OSU.

I was at the game. This team is fun to watch, and fun to see how excited they get.

my first game in a decade and my son’s first game ever. I love this team and am loving this season so far. We may lose next week. Maybe not. Who cares? Enjoy the damned ride. I don’t get the complainers. Every time a bad play happened people acted like we were a 3-9 RR team spiraling down. College football is supposed to be challenging, passionate, and fun.

It's one thing to get beaten by a superior team. But during Harbaugh's tenure, Michigan has continually lost to teams that are less talented. 56-22 is a good record, but Michigan has very few wins against great teams during his 7 years.

My frustration lies in not putting the players in the best possible situation to succeed, and it never changes year to year. Harbaugh is what he is at this point. Michigan has started the season strong several years until they fizzle out and lose to good competition. I'll continue to cheer for the team, but until they regularly show up against good opponents, it's hard to not be pessimistic.

The problem is that Michigan has lost to teams that are less talented under Harbaugh?  What are you smoking and may I have some?  5 of his losses are to OSU and every one of those teams was more talented.  How many of the other 17 losses were to teams with less talent?  Maybe 4 or 5 tops?  Go fish.

When’s THE RECKONING again, genius? IIRC, it’s been totally about to happen 4 or 5 times already, and since you’re obviously really smart and totally balanced and not even a little bit of a whiny, petty, miserable douchebag you just must know.

I have a buddy who bought a corvette.  Fucking loves that corvette, washes it every weekend.  But he’s scared he’ll wreck it, so he only drives it to the store and back, and only on Sunday.  Meanwhile, he spends 2 hours a day commuting in a goddamned 2013 Subaru Impreza.

Pass the mother fucker into the end zone at least one play when inside the five and I don’t mean the almost impossible out route over the shoulder throw either.

Harbaugh is a miserable coach to have. He sucks all the fun from the games. The most uninspired 33-7 win I’ve watched.

Not sure how Cade throwing them ball for 121 prepares you for the remaining games, especially MSU next week.

7-0 is 7-0 I guess. Yay!
