They outscored us in the fourth quarter. Fire the coaching staff.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:16 PM ^
I bet Ohio State would’ve scored over 100.
(Am I doing this right)
September 18th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
This goes under D snowflakes
September 18th, 2021 at 3:18 PM ^
THAT'S the MGoBlog I know....
September 18th, 2021 at 3:48 PM ^
Sad I can't up vote this more.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
Jim said he played over 100 guys. Nice
September 18th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
Great to see guys like Franklin and Gash in there!
September 18th, 2021 at 8:37 PM ^
Wasn't Franklin and Gash a tv show?
September 18th, 2021 at 11:23 PM ^
Franklin and Bash which was a great legal dramedy
September 18th, 2021 at 9:25 PM ^
I was really rooting for Gash because damn that's a badass name for a running back.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:11 PM ^
Looks like we have a passing game.
September 18th, 2021 at 6:22 PM ^
We have a passing game that is effective against the MAC. Ask again after the Wisconsin game.
September 18th, 2021 at 6:59 PM ^
When you can pulverize an opponent on the ground why put a lot of the passing game on tape? Just keep practicing it. It would be great to keep a lot of that under wraps until Wisconsin.
September 18th, 2021 at 7:08 PM ^
When have you known Harbaugh to keep a passing attack under wraps to be deployed at a surprising moment?
September 18th, 2021 at 3:12 PM ^
As much as I would have liked hanging another 14 on them to break the rushing TD record, emptying the bench was a good choice.
September 18th, 2021 at 6:46 PM ^
After that long Lombardi run I was hoping they would send the first team back in to crush them.
September 18th, 2021 at 8:25 PM ^
I know Harbaugh can rub some the wrong way, but the guy is all class when it comes to how he handles his players. I respect the shit out of him, and hope badly that he can make a lot of people look foolish for their calls for his firing. The guy can coach, and his better offenses here have been some of my favorite of the last 20 years.
September 18th, 2021 at 10:45 PM ^
Harbaugh is not a players coach, a lot of Michigan’s major problems have started because of how Harbaugh treats his players, but sure, he plays benchwarmers while blowing out a MAC team.
September 18th, 2021 at 11:15 PM ^
Thank you.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
It was good.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
Whitmer should hire Moore and the linemen to fix the damn roads with all the paving they're doing
September 18th, 2021 at 4:56 PM ^
Someone needs to figure out how to make that idea a NIL t-shirt. Maybe with the O-Line wearing hard hats, reflective vests, and road paving equipment.
September 18th, 2021 at 6:33 PM ^
They've paved 0.61 miles so far. That's better progress than the work on Eastbound I-196 and U.S. 131
September 19th, 2021 at 1:04 AM ^
Or the "progress" on I-75 in southeast Oakland County.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
We may actually be good…. I’m trying to not believe (so much pain) but we are manhandling teams.
Also Western is leading against Pitt (2-0)
September 18th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
I like to look at the season progression game by game. Build confidence, build experience, consistently improve, "be better tomorrow than you were today" and they'll be a much better team in November than they are today. It isn't a light switch.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:20 PM ^
It's been a long time since the offense has felt so...comfortable, I guess.
September 18th, 2021 at 5:38 PM ^
Update: WMU knocks off Pitt.
Bet RobF is having a great time in Pittsburgh today ???
September 18th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
McCarthy really looks as if he will be the best Michigan QB in a long, long time before he is through. Great arm, fast, seems to have good command of the offense already.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:26 PM ^
The read where he kept it for a big chunk play makes me wonder why Cade Hands off that same read. Earlier in the game I thought because the game plan was for him to just hand it off no matter what, but with McCarthy keeping, that let me know they do have the legit option to keep. There were two that McNamara handed that were obvious keeps.
September 18th, 2021 at 4:48 PM ^
I dont think you want you lr starter keeping in 50 pt wins. Weigh the risk to reward. Its probably a “ok its second half and this game is competitive now you can read” until that moment in time.. why?
September 18th, 2021 at 5:20 PM ^
I am absolutely good with the starting quarterback not running the ball and a game that you're already winning by 30+ at the half.
September 18th, 2021 at 5:21 PM ^
Exactly. In my opinion McCarthy has the green-light to make the read to pull, and McNamera does not because he is the starter. The same thing happened a couple years ago when McCaffrey came in as a backup. Do you McGetit? lol.

Love how the team played today. This tweet, though... cringe.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:02 PM ^
Yesterday’s Black vernacular—>today’s cringeworthy tweet—>tomorrow’s mainstream lexicon.
That’s how a lot of jargon goes.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
Awesome.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
It's Northern Illinois, Michigan did what they always do.
September 18th, 2021 at 4:42 PM ^
Michigan rarely hangs 63 on a team like NIU.
September 18th, 2021 at 4:50 PM ^
Maybe we can get t-shirts made and a banner put up?
Or just accept is as a blowout win against a inferior opponent which doesn't really tell us anything new in the grand scheme of things. Running game still good, passing game is good against MAC teams.
Wisconsin should tell us what we need to know.
September 18th, 2021 at 9:18 PM ^
Except MAC teams and even FCS teams are beating P5 teams all over the place this year. So, yeah, this win is very solid and worth the joy shown here, Deb.
September 18th, 2021 at 4:53 PM ^
Funny, today I don't remember Michigan keeping an inferior opponent in the game for far too long, raising vitriol and blood pressure. I thought they were impressive in the run for the third staight game, and the defense has been better than expected.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:15 PM ^
Holy shit
September 18th, 2021 at 3:16 PM ^
Lots of boxes were checked. Passing game improved. Cornelius Johnson is the go-to receiver now. I'd like to see more Roman Wilson. Ground game is solid. Glad to Edwards shine today on the ground.
A bigger test next week. Michigan had it's way today.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:45 PM ^
Ground game is wayyyy beyond solid ? Its been exceptional.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
Only gripe is Haskins didn’t get to 100 yards
