Not sure why, but it's actually nice if I knew who was playing beforehand.

That said, they're not on the ESPN.com schedule that I copy and paste, so they don't make it on here.

Usually I just do the "big matchups," but for this week's schedule...that would've meant that there was no Noon Games Thread...so I did all games on national TV.

Auburn just scored. I know this because the Nebraska-Purdue broadcast suddenly cut to a replay of an Auburn player scoring just as Nebraska was about to run an offensive play.

Goodness, I'm watching the Nebraska/Purdue game, and the whole ESPN crew is struggling mightily.  The cameraman is being faked out on every misdirection play.  Inexplicably, the Auburn game video started playing with the audio remaining.  It's tough to watch.  Is ESPN destined to look like the Big Ten Network with all their cuts?

It just takes one week. It's a very tough place to play.

Bottom line there's a reason that they play the games. Though I'm not watching this Purdue game so I may be a tad optimistic that Nebraska can pull the upset.

MSU is a very good team but they're not unbeatable either.

Either way let's just take care of business tonight.

Right now Michigan and Boston College are 1 and 2 in defensive yards/game and UM is #1 in PPG while BC is #3.

BC is 3-5 with three losses by 3 or fewer points. The other two losses were to FSU and Clemson.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have an elite defense but be 3-5 because you lost 3-0 to Wake Forest.

My wife wants to go get dim sum. Unfortunately these games are not good enough for me to say no. See y'all in the afternoon games thread.

For the vast majority of the first half so far, Syracuse's answer to the Seminoles' wide receiver corps has basically been "lamp". Very bad play in the secondary on all three FSU TD drives.

I assume this is why Syracuse joined the ACC, so it could be the other Wake Forest, right?

I'll never understand comments like this. Just focusing on the negative and whining about what other teams have. You know what's amazing Michigan's defense shutting out opponents 3 games in a row that's amazing. Rudock is what he is crying about other teams having a better deep passing game is asinine and the kind of thing children complain about. Why can't we have that???? This team has a chance to win double digit games this season boo hooing about what other teams have is senseless. We have the best coaching staff in the country and are on the rise. You would think people would appreciate it more after the last few years.

By all means talk about them in a way that doesn't boil down to I wish we could do what other teams could do. It's juvenile not analytical and just stupid. If you want to analyze and talk about the deep game being inefficient do that. Don't cry about what other teams have when we are year one into a rebuild.

but I was VERY worried when he took that knee shot in the BYU game. If bent backward a bit but he didn't miss a snap. People will want him if he were to get hurt. The other options are just so bad lol. That's not saying we can't want more! It's just sating that there is a reason he's here. Imagine a Hoke team led by Morris or Speight. Try that flavor real quick lol
