MSU-Beilemas and Ole Miss-Auburn coming down to the wire simultaneously

It's not over
November 1st, 2014 at 10:36 PM ^
LOL what a drive by Arkansas! QB is just throwing weird balls and WRs catching it everywhere.
And INT in the end zone! wow.

Darn, MSU survives.

I think it's the networks, but the night games are probably decided before the season to accommodate fans. (Though that still doesn't explain OSU-Ill.)

Gus Malzahn and his fucking sweatervests

What is it about coaches in sweatervests and eternal luck?

ND playing like this makes it look like the FSU game was the outlier. They are not the 10th best team in the country. Not even close.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:40 PM ^
Serious question - Arkansas has played Miss State within 1 throw to tie, and 1 pt of Bama. They are 0-4 in the SEC.
Would they win the Big 10?
My guess is they'd win the West...probably with 1 damn loss. Not sure on the East.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:41 PM ^
That's crazy...a 17 game losing streak and they keep losing close.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:44 PM ^
They also lost to a bad Texas A&M and an overrated Georgia team. Their best win is N.Illinois.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:45 PM ^
Both Georgia and Texas A&M would beat any team in the Big Ten
November 1st, 2014 at 10:52 PM ^
That is an ignorant statement. Texas A&M barely beat Louisiana Monroe. That is Johnny Manziel's A&M team. They are flat out not a good team.
November 1st, 2014 at 11:01 PM ^
The top rankings just echo around inside of the conference. Georgia just allowed Florida to drop 38 on them - the same Florida team that can't score on anyone. As noted above, A&M struggled with ULM.
The SEC is the best conference and often features numerous top 10 teams, but the notion that even the mediocre teams in that league could win any other league is ESPN circle jerking
November 1st, 2014 at 10:46 PM ^
How would a bad A&M and overrated GA do in the Big 10? Do you see those teams losing to Minnesota, Purdue, Indiana, Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State, llinois? etc.
I think they'd be right up there with the top 3 teams. Certainly 50/50 versus those teams and smoke all the crap teams.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:50 PM ^
Indiana over Missouri. And Missouri is a better team than Arkansas.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:42 PM ^
smarmy is the word that comes to mind.
November 2nd, 2014 at 12:27 AM ^
especially on pretty ladies like those.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:39 PM ^
Ole Miss just threw two forward passes....why did they think that was ok?
November 1st, 2014 at 10:43 PM ^
and trying to reach blind back over his head.

Why wouldn't they go for the first down and then try a hail mary? Much better odds than whatever the hell that was.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:42 PM ^
Arizona State is dumb for starting this game v Utah at 11 PM EST. I get night game for local fans but make it 6 PM so the rest of the country can watch you.

You looooove you some Arizona St.! lol
November 1st, 2014 at 10:47 PM ^
Well same issue for Arizona and UCLA but I believe that game is at UCLA so Arizona doesnt have a choice. Play at 6:30 PM local time to get a 9:30 PM EST start time.

Meanwhile, the further Stanford gets from Harbaugh the worse they get..
November 1st, 2014 at 10:45 PM ^
May have something to do with that as well...
November 1st, 2014 at 10:47 PM ^
Vic Fangio...
...the defense hasn't been the same.
November 1st, 2014 at 10:52 PM ^
Yeah, losing the best ranked quarterback of the modern era minus perhaps peyton manning and one of the top defensive coordinators in the nation is not an easy adjustment. Still, they both came from Harbaugh's reign which he deserves credit for
November 1st, 2014 at 11:03 PM ^
Just wish he could bring both along to Michigan...but I'll settle for Fangio.
November 1st, 2014 at 11:31 PM ^
Actually Stanford had held something like 30 consecutive opponents to 28 points or fewer before tonight.
