I never wanted coach to fail. Only ever wanted him to succeed. I admit that last season, I was willing to accept a coaching change may be the right move. I am very glad to have witnessed those thoughts become incorrect memories. Well done Coach Harbaugh, staff, and team. You all have been a pleasure to watch so far, and I can't wait to see where your talents take you with what season remains!

Go Blue!

I'm in that group.

Past years he rightfully deserved to be criticized.

This year things felt different. The coaching changes, Harbaugh himself seemed hungrier and more focused. More leadership on the team, etc. It all lined up. He finally did something he hasn't been able to do here since he was hired, and that was beat OSU AND get to the Big Ten Championship Game.

I'll eat crow, lets go, lets get to the Playoff by winning next week.

It takes a big man to admit and I appreciate your humility.

I had Michigan with a 51% chance of winning since the Maryland victory for today.

Always lean toward optimism, Uncle Leo.

GO BLUE!!

We've all doubted Harbaugh to varying extents at different points. I, for one, offer my humble apology. I'm sorry, Jim. What a goddamned turnaround by that guy. He's our coach now and going forward, and I am very happy about that. Go Blue. WE FUCKING BEAT OHIO

I've said it several times already - this team did what it had to do to bring fans back, and it did that several games ago.  This is gravy on the cake!

They've improved as a team, and individually, throughout the season.  Each game has been an improvement over the other, and the result is a program that just physically beat the living shit out of the Ohio State Death Star.  Every bit of this season is on the coaching staff.

Harbaugh bought in to change - again.  He also returned to his roots and brought along Gattis with the power running game.  Here, he allowed Gattis to call a horribly DELICIOUS game that put 42 easy points on the board.  If you could eat game plans, this one was worth about 3000 calories!

Defense has always been something JH leaves to his DC.  And MacDonald earned every penny of his contract this year.  His defense was lights out!  Nothing deep enough to score, everything contested, it all ate clock.  That was the best defensive performance I've seen from Michigan since the 2017 Game.  It.  Was.  Beautiful.

This was Jim Harbaugh's best season of coaching since he's been coaching.  And yes, I know he took an NFL team to the Super Bowl.

I’m here. I got no problem saying I was wrong. I also don’t see the problem with having this opinion going into year 7. Nor do I have a problem with wanting to stick it out with JH

I was done with him after the shit show of last year but there is no one I am more happy for than him.  He made the correct changes and deserves this win. I hope this continues for the rest of this year and many years to come.  His players love him and the fans should as well.

Copy and paste from the other thread:

Alright boys. Here it is.

I’ll own up.

I had no faith. I did not believe. At all. In fact, I didn’t even get to see the game. Spent the day out of town doing some side work. I held out all day not checking stats or scores…until I just had to finally start believing and turn the game on my phone.

I actually cried as time expired and the team rushed the field. Full truth.

All my doubts about this staff and this program have been trampled under the feet of Hassan Haskins.

I shall doubt this staff and team’s potential no more. I was in favor of getting rid of Harbaugh after last season. I liked him, but just didn’t think he had what it takes. I didn’t believe him coming back this year would change anything, even with the new staff.

I WAS WRONG. I WAS WRONG. I WAS WRONG.

All credit to Jim Harbaugh, the staff of coaches he has assembled, and the players who stuck with it and played their hearts out.

Forever Go Blue and Hail To The Victors!

Signed,

I'm not here to gloat, just to say that I had a gut feeling from the very beginning of the season that this year was going to be different than the past 3 or 4 seasons. With each win, especially the road games, the feeling became stronger. I didn't have the usual feeling that we were going to lose to Ohio State, it was just neutral, leaning towards a Michigan win. And after the loss to Michigan State, I felt like they were going to bounce back. Cade was right; this team is different.

Yup, I was completely on board with moving on from him after last season. I am so sorry Jim. The off-season coaching changes you made REALLY paid off and it showed today and through the totality of this season. I am absolutely astounded by their performances, and by the team as a whole. Absolutely everything is forgiven Jim.

Also, Catchafire if you read this, I am so sorry for doubting you and for the amount of shit you had flung at you by so many users on this board for being a so-called “Harbaugh apologist.” You we’re right all along and goddammit and I glad to say it. Go Blue!!

Exactly.  My uncle also a Michigan fan has been bashing harbaugh for years and leading up to this game.  I told him to go root for another team. And when he does leave he will be very difficult to replace.  Go Blue!!!!!!

I have often wanted him fired.  I still hate him getting outcoached by Tucker twice.  But he's our best option.   Still has work to do.  Have to win next week.

I deserve every bit of shit that comes my way. I'm okay with it, this is the best win I've ever experienced in 19 years since I started watching in 2002. Better than 2003 vs OSU. GO BLUE GO

Does anyone remember hearing Jack Harbaugh talk about how it takes 7 years to fix a football program? Like when he brought his sons in to help with recruiting in 1994 at western Kentucky?

I’m just sayin’

Right here. I wanted him gone after the sparty game last year. I'll take my crow deep-fried. No sauce because I don't deserve it.

Harbaugh totally rules and it is with great joy that I admit I was wrong. Go blue!

I was a JH basher, I repent.  I have been following the team for almost 60 years and this has been the worst stretch, was losing heart.  Today this prodigal has come home
