More bad news coming?

Insider boards (Balas mainly) are buzzing that there’s more damning evidence to drop

Keep what up lol. You want me to be a blind homer? Ya I'll say the same shit across different posts because we all need to get on the same page. Here, reddit, the subscription sits, everyone reads or hears shit and then rushes to wherever they frequent to talk about and then it becomes a big game of telephone and "where did you hear that?" I follow all the subscription sites, am here, and on reddit. Balas warned about Stalions being at the CMU game being leaked a week before the photos started going around. Also said there would be another piece coming out that isn't sign-related but adds onto the rock pile and looks bad character-wise. That ended up being the staffer story about the dude who was fired. I don't like how he'll just be doom and ominous one night then positive the next morning and repeat. All of those subscription sight people that have insider sources (Sam Webb, Balas, Isaiah Hole, Josh Henschke, Anthony Broome) share things that need to be corroborated. For instance, Henschke just said Stalions wasn't fired but RESIGNED this evening.

I joined to keep up with what Sopwith was posting because people were screenshotting his shit and sharing to twitter. I'm off twitter till this entire thing comes to a conclusion. I'm in a group chat on there with State people and it's insufferable. He knows stuff and I wanted to go down the rabbit hole. I've got two degrees from Michigan and live an hour from Ann Arbor, but yes I'm an OSU troll! Christ. Any sort of slight reality or pessimism on this site and you're called a troll. What if I started replying to people asking if they actually went to Michigan? Then I'd be the ass right, just like calling someone a troll.

Several people have already asked this, and I don't see any answers.  So I'll ask again:

Where are people seeing these comments from Balas?  I don't see anything on his X (Twitter), and I don't see anything on thewolverine (ON3)

Right, I was a member at the time which I am no longer mainly due to Balas being too negative. The issue I had with the Harbaugh to Minnesota deal was he told us that it was a done deal not it's a done deal if Harbaugh gets offered.

Maybe he didn't know the Minnesota side but then just say that.

I’m hopeful that Ono wouldn’t have stuck his neck out for Harbaugh and refused to suspend him if he wasn’t 100% certain that there wasn’t other damning evidence to come out.

Honest question: is anyone really expecting that the NCAA won't be able to find evidence that at least someone higher up knew about this? I think its unrealistic that Stalions acted alone, and even without digital evidence - Stalions might be more open to being interviewed now that he has been fired.

It doesn't forgive the method in which this evidence was procured, but Harbaugh is going to have to take some accountability for this, even if everyone on here hopes for the best.

He's a good coach and is great to his staff / players, but seems to be suffering from some judgement errors. This is why everyone rushing to bash Warde for not immediately defending Harbaugh need to step back and think about why he hasn't up to this point.

Assuming 100% innocence is also a dangerous way of thinking, no?

Ok, lets say Stalions acted alone and nobody knew - you don't blame Harbaugh for employing someone who seems to have been legitimately crazy? What about Weiss? What about Shemy? What about the dude with the underage girl? This is what I mean when I say poor judgement.

Yet everyone on here wants to hang Warde because he also isnt rushing to judgement.

Without evidence? No, that's not dangerous.

If anything new comes out then I will reassess.

What is this "overwhelming evidence"? We don't know. It's obviously not anything that actually ties it to a coach because the commentary was "someone should have known."

Lots of crazy people get hired because they're really good at what they do. I don't blame Harbaugh for not knowing this guy was "legitimately crazy" if he truly is (I don't know), because that's not Harbaugh's specialty. All I know about Matt Weiss is that he accessed unauthorized accounts and Michigan handled that internally until recently partnering with the FBI. Was there any of that kind of activity in his past? Did Alex Wood have a documented history of buying booze and hooking up with underage girls? He was fired by Michigan as soon as the news came out.  And I'm not surprised that a Schembeckler wasn't fully scrutinized before joining the staff. Maybe we slow our roll a bit and get a better hiring process or add more layers of accountability once hired, but this doesn't seem like it's a Harbaugh judgment thing. It's terrible timing but they don't seem to be related, and I'm not sure that they're even systemic problems. It doesn't seem like M dragged their feet on anything once they were aware of the bad behaviors.

What would be so extensive that Harbaugh et al would need to know Stalions was cheating -- short of Stalions coming out and saying "I was cheating?"

There's really only two things I can think of.  The first would be Stalions turning in an expense voucher for football tickets.

The other would be Stalions beings so uncannily good at predicting opponent plays that it sets off alarm bells.  But so far I have yet to see anyone identify any plays where Michigan just happened to check into the perfect play at the last second.  Unless someone can come up with some examples -- and it would take a ton to overcome plain old good luck and good game planning -- I'm just not certain Michigan gained all that much from this, or that there was anything that should have tipped off Michigan's coaching staff.

Am I missing something here?

the Gerdemen/Orr crowd posted a play where OSU was in the red zone and on 2nd & 9 (?) Michigan left MH Jr. one-on-one and blitzed safeties into a run, after lip-reading Stalions saying "run right" and OSU ran right into the blitz. Or Michigan pointing to the sky when reading pass, etc.
In their minds, that would have been impossible without cheating.

The bad news that's left to come out is that there's a criminal investigation into the PIs who helped orchestrate this nothing burger of a witch hunt.
