Minter waving goodbye to O$U sideline
I love Minter waving goodbye to the Buckeyes. They sure tried their hardest to tarnish the UM name, Harbaugh's name and all the players and coaches. Karma is a bitch, enjoy watching the rest of the season from your couches!

Fuck yes

I've never seen coaches participate in the trash talk until now. It is further proof of how personal this game has become. It's no longer affecting the emotions of just young men, but the older, wiser, and (hopefully) more mature men. OSU started this, Michigan finished it. Glad to see it.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:08 PM ^
Pay that man! You can see the passion, love, and joy he has coaching on the sidelines in Ann Arbor with these players and other coaches. It’s got to be refreshing to see a coaching staff united, professional, and mimicking an NFL approach with team oriented players that are also talented.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:15 PM ^
To me it’s also confirmation of what we already know: that OSU was the source of all this nonsense. He didn’t react this way last year. This was essentially a huge “fuck you” to these guys for being the whiny little bitches they are
November 26th, 2023 at 7:18 PM ^
100% agree Macenblu. Imagine hiring a PI firm, leaking all info to Thamel to produce endless drips, getting Harbaugh suspended and then losing to an interim coach. Not only is Ryan Day soft as Charmin, so is the whole O$U football program!
November 26th, 2023 at 7:24 PM ^
My immediate first thought as well. He's beaten them before and been at this a while so why would he react in such an animated way this time? For the very reasons you state. He knows OSU and their boosters are behind this entire scheme. No other plausible explanation.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:37 PM ^
only objection here is that the players had nothing to do with it... it was the coaches. I think OSU played a great game. I'm glad we beat them at their best.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:56 PM ^
No matter the brainwashing they have done you cannot truly believe every program doesnt try to advance scout other teams signs. Even at the peewee level it happens. Every team does it! Every team has someone at rivals and future opponents games or at minimum watching video from someone at one of those games. The money is far too big to not to. Just like we have known for years that players got money.
November 27th, 2023 at 10:38 AM ^
Meh. The coaches were in there somewhere.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:41 PM ^
All the cool kids say Michigan is a bunch of paranoid freaks for thinking that OSU is behind the mysterious and still unknown (publicly) PI firm that handed the info to the NCAA and dispersed it to the media on a daily basis for two weeks.
Maybe. But all those people so sure that OSU couldn't possibly be involved have yet to offer a more compelling theory. What they have come up with is that the FBI stumbled onto Stalions' computer files, said to themselves "Egads! This is an NCAA violation!" And then the FBI hired a separate investigative firm to package it together, receive from the FBI the computer files (legally presumably) and hand it to the NCAA because...reasons? And also then leak to OSU insiders just because.
But sure, our theory is nuts.

I’d be right there next to him.

His unit sent Maserati Marv out a 3 year loser. That's an incredible accomplishment.

An entire senior class with 0 golden pants. Glorious.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:29 PM ^
We haven't seen that in a long damn time.

There are some former Tressel players who will be willing to sell their gold pants. 🤣
November 27th, 2023 at 10:22 AM ^
So glorious!
November 26th, 2023 at 8:24 PM ^
Maserati Marv is the lamest nickname ever.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:35 PM ^
I can already see it being used to mock him if he's any less than Randy Moss from day 1 in the NFL.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:37 PM ^
It's perfect. Looks great, but frequently broken.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:56 PM ^
Maserati Marv is a perfect name for the best player on that team and goes to exactly what Roman Wilson was talking about in his press conference yesterday. These OSU players want to say that they are tough and have a coach that will tell anyone who will listen that they are all tough yet they show up in their expensive clothing and shoes and just don’t play the toughness part. Watch how Maserati Marv reacts once Johnson intercepts that pass in the 1st half. He had no intention of trying to go after him. He just casually walks off the field. They have a culture problem in Columbus. The further away they are getting from Tressel and Meyer, the softer that team and fan base are getting.
November 27th, 2023 at 2:05 AM ^
I noticed the exact same thing. Will picks off McCord and Barrett throws a block on MHJ. MHJ just melts back towards the sideline. In fact, he doesn't even try to go after Will before the Barrett block. The only two things I can think of is; 1) Hartline coaches him to do that knowing that defensive players may take a shot at him OR 2) he really does shy away from contact (soft).
If he does that in the NFL, I'll bet he won't play much until he changes his attitude.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:12 PM ^
At least he did it on the field rather than having his trigger fingers turn to twitter fingers after the game…
November 26th, 2023 at 7:14 PM ^
I did the same thing to the TV. Not nearly as cool as when Coach Minter died it.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:36 PM ^
gerald, TV was a fairly new invention when you were playing. not your fault.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:14 PM ^
Pretty sure that’s coach code for “These aren’t the signs you’re looking for. You can go about your business giving them to Iowa.”
November 26th, 2023 at 7:17 PM ^
I love our whole coaching staff. Making hard work pay off and enjoying the rewards of victory.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:18 PM ^
Beat Ohio (past tense)
November 26th, 2023 at 7:19 PM ^
He just wanted to be held like the rest of his players were! When scorned you react. Debutantes.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:20 PM ^
God, I love that. I really hope he’s here next year.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:23 PM ^
That's a Michigan Man right there. He knows. Go Blue!!
November 26th, 2023 at 7:23 PM ^
Wonderful and gorgeous
"That is so unsportsmanlike, I'm telling the conference." -Gene Smith osu AD
I'm going to guess he wanted to only wave one finger.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:26 PM ^
Made it seem like some extra shit was talked. Maybe that was at Day? But doing that to players, to me, isn't that different than the guy who responded to Wilson
November 26th, 2023 at 7:32 PM ^
I can see your point, I really can, but Jesse did it live on field. The other guy did it safe in his home wearing Hello Kitty PJs.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:48 PM ^
Fair. I'm not interested an argument. It just initially struck me that way, again, unless, something provoked him, or if it was at Day or other coaches.
The time for Michigan to be petty and angry is now. We've been wronged. I can be a vengeful person.
Either way, it wasn't nearly as bad as publishing it online hours later like an Internet tough guy
November 26th, 2023 at 7:49 PM ^
I'd say it underlines the likelihood that OSU has been at the heart of the push to hurt Harbaugh. Beyond Minter's action here, I'd also say that--if true--the attempt really looks like a man insecure in his job trying to shore up his position by casting doubt on the team that beat him.
Backfire. Boomerang. Ouch. You notice that NOBODY, except message board nobodies, is pushing the cheating theme today. They're all questioning whether Day retains his job.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:58 PM ^
I'll just try to be objective and say that that's the narrative we believe, that Day was behind all this and our guys were wronged. It's our narrative, but minter believing it doesn't make it more likely to be true
But yes, perhaps that's why
November 26th, 2023 at 8:06 PM ^
Strong disagree. If he thinks it's true then he's likelier privy to some proof that it really is. But I was only speculating that he might not make such a show of open anger if not.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:16 PM ^
Are you not exhausted from the constant doomsaying?
November 26th, 2023 at 8:25 PM ^
I'm not going to hijack yet another thread with the full details on this...but we know full well who delivered the documents. The OSU insider Brian quoted a while back who said he knew who the firm was "and it wasn't Chris Day" described the firm with verbiage lifted directly from the linkedin blurb of the guy stalbombs says it was, and you don't have to search too hard to find the links to Chris Day.
November 26th, 2023 at 8:27 PM ^
Yes, perhaps you should STFU and enjoy a win vs being a db.
November 27th, 2023 at 9:43 AM ^
How do you know it was meant for the players though? The coaches were over there too.

I love this coaching staff. This team is well coached and it shows.
November 26th, 2023 at 7:56 PM ^
This just says that the B1G Civil War is on. I don’t know what will happen, but I’m almost certain that OSU and us having more reasons to work against each other in the conference than with each other will end poorly for the net recipients of TV revenue sharing.
They probably should have thought through that before siding with OSU.
