Nice point.  Plus 1 for you.  The haters will change their tune to “hasn’t beaten a top ten ranked opponent on the road...”.  It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine this Sunday morning, but I’ll miss having the real Ann Arbor New’s pull out center sheet on post-football Sundays.  4 pages of news stories devoted solely to the game, with pictures.

I disliked one call- trying to go outside with Charbonnet on the third possession on 3rd and 2 from the Minn 14.  Need to watch again to see if it was outside zone or P&P, but I thought that was a bit too cute- even if you run 2 QB dives you should be able to get that.  Any lateral run on short yardage can get blown to hell by LB’s throwing themselves haphazardly at the line.  Other than that, I’m pretty sure the competitive portion of the game is going to be a huge RPS win.

Offense looked like Harbaugh and Gattis melded their philosophies. Especially happy that we didn't put the offense to bed when we got up 2 scores.

Also. Coaches Harbaugh have a decision to make about our FG kicker...

No crowd is relevant. And there were mistakes.

But this was Michigan’s best road performance since... the Carr era? That means something, even without crowd noise. Executing in unfamiliar environs is hard, and Michigan did it with ease.

Gattis hitting his stride. The OL hasn’t skipped a beat.

Hard not to be really optimistic here.

Sounds about right. Just can’t count a run-up on a disastrous Rutgers team. Minnesota was ranked and has good players on the field. Michigan has been underwhelming on the road for a long, long time.

Not underwhelming today. It helps that there are no fans (especially after the punt block). But putting things together and executing, on the road, like this? It’s not a given, and Michigan looked great. Like elite teams are supposed to look.
