I just watched a you tube video with guys that bet EVERY THING . and they had Jay Bilas on and he said he got a few texts that said " Mike Smith is the first player in D1 history to score 18 + with 15 + assist ,5+ rebounds , 2 + steals and have 0 turnovers in a game " Any game
Senior Guard play is historically a great indicator of a deep NCAA run. Keep it up and go far. GO BLUE!
Plus Michigan hasnt needed him to score ,but i wouldnt be surprised if he has a 25 point game at some point in the next month ,starting with the game tomorrow

He played and acted more like a POS.
What I liked most was that Morsell had a pretty good offensive game and kept punking after he'd score. Almost every time he made a big play it felt like Smith took it upon himself to come right back and do the same. I loved that.
And while I realize that he shouldn't have won the DPOY, he's still an above average defender with tons of size on Smith. Can't imagine there are going to be a lot of other players we'll see that are much tougher. Would love to see Smith get another shot at Frazier.

I haven't watched the game yet, from the box score it appears they doubled Livers, and left Smith unguarded.
I recommend you watch the game (if you can)...there's a lot you're missing.

Smith has been a godsend to this team as much as Dickinson, and that is saying A LOT.

It's funny because Mike Smith was plan B in the transfer market after Juwan struck out on Bryce Aikens when Aikens decided to go to Seton Hall. Fortunately, it worked out for all parties involved.

Some may have thought the stats were a tournament first ,this is why the "any game" was added. I believe writing "too" while adding the ... (dot dot dot) is correct if its describing something furthermore . Have been out of school for 35 years,but i remember something like this .

Smith is a revelation. The one thing this team has lacked is someone creating their own shot. This little guy can do that nicely. Franz is the only other one but he is erratic.
That is definitely a worthy stat.....can't find many with that distinction.
