This was a bad game, but hopefully one the team learns from.  Offensive and defensive rebounding must improve, but give credit to Xavier.  This team consistently makes deep runs in the tournament, and you can see how they do it every year.  This is a bad loss in the sense of the score, but UM can improve from it.

well this sucks, hopefully the team gets better like 2014 and doesn't just fall like last year. I guess Walton and Irvin didn't have their best games today, but Levert still put up 29, and he's not gonna do that every game

This is what happens when you only recruit outside shooters. They can shoot the ball but they aren't tough. We need a big man that isn't Ricky Doyle.

When Caris has a huge game, we lose. And it usually isn't even a game. When someone else takes the lead and Caris is a facilitator, we win. He needs to be second chair. The problem is that we have no first chair. Oh, and we have no 5. Whatsoever.

What does playing with heart have to do with the crux of my post? I would never dispute that Levert plays with heart. He is just a natural facilitator, as he was with Stauskas. I am hoping Walton can step it up against real competition because when Levert is in his comfort zone as a facilitator, that's when this team shines.

No rebounding, missed free throws, can't pass the ball inside without throwing it away. No lose balls. No logic whatsoever to who plays. Why are Donnel and Wilson in the game? Why can't we play more than one person over 6'7" at a time? We have the talent to win this game, but this team just sucks right now.

Don't tell me about bashing B _. He's the coach of this mess. They're are experienced players on this team. It's the system. If you can't get an offensive rebound and all you do is shoot threes, you are not gonna win much. And you can't use a 10-12 man rotation, you can't get into the flow of the game going in and out. And if one big man beats you like Xavier just did, what about a team with 2 or 3 good big men? This will be about a .500 team, good for 5 or 6 in the B1G, and those are facts wether you want to believe it or not.

Every year Michigan MBB loses a game early and everyone here questions JB and the entire team.  And EVERY YEAR the team improves and surpasses expectations.  Be patient.  This team has to figure out it's rotation and once it does; look out B1G.

as fans, we can definitely be upset with a poor performance, but damn, some out there have no patience. No doubt there are some glaring weaknesses on the team, but this is a team that was pretty fractured last year and still isn't 100% healthy or as cohesive as it could be. Get better from here and get ready to play UConn next week. Go Blue.
