Michigan Vs. Wisconsin - Game Thread - 12:00 PM, FOX

Everyone says you shouldn't pull your starting QB because it breaks their self-confidence ..... but we overlook that if your QB already is broken .... its time to try someone else.  We lose this game unless we get at least an average Rutger QB performance.

Going for it was definitely the right move, but Wisconsin is brutal against the run.  Cade doesn’t look good (surprise).  Yeah the wr could help but they weren’t accurate throws.  They are also mostly within 10 yards.  

Receivers running routes short of the sticks, dropping passes and Cade is slightly off. Not a good recipe to help the run game out. 

I just can't guys....

4th and 1 against wisconsin, and you line up your power running back 8 yards behind the LOS only to run it up the gut....

I just cant.

Short yardage out of the shotgun is always stupid.  QB sneak especially since you can push from behind.

Liked everything about that drive and the mentality, except for the WR's not helping their QB out at all.

Not mad about going for it, but would have been a great time for a pass !

Honestly don't mind the 4 and 1 call.

Really seems like a page out of the Ravens analytics whether people like it or not is another question.

But if your identity is a smash mouth run team, you go for that, especially since its early enough in the game not to really hurt you.

Love the aggressive attitude to go for it on 4th but need to test the edge or just go qb sneak under center.

Cade may not be the answer.  Looks to have happy feet.

Liked the playcalling and aggressiveness but the WRs and TEs blew it bad. Two drops. Two routes short of the sticks and looks like All blew that block on the 4th down.

Fuck just realized it's the John O'Neil crew, welp hope their 2-3 mind boggling idiotic calls per game don't go against Michigan.

Can't they have the camera at the line of scrimmage?

Don't like the decision to got for it on 4th and 1 on our side of the field. Michigan has to show a consistent passing threat to be able to pick up easy 4th and 1 conversions against their run defense. Meanwhile the scouting report says their offense is their own worst enemy; great time to play the field position game.

Our QB throws is inaccurate, playcalling has no imagination-AGAIN-and Offensive line getting smoked.  Other than that, offense looks great.

Here comes the Fox commercial marathon. 

Fully convinced now that our QBs do not have the option to keep the ball on RPOs.  On that second 4 and 1, left side was wide open and Cade had a blocker.  Easy conversion if he kept it

People calling for a sneak:  Cade isn’t good at them.  It’s definitely a skill that some quarterbacks don’t have.  

I don’t mind going for it, we wanted Harbaugh to be aggressive and he’s doing it. But boy you are playing with fire by running right into the teeth of Wisconsin’s strongest point. 

Going for it twice did seem a bit greedy though. 

I hate these fake QB option run plays. Mac will never keep unless told, and it's obvious. He would have gotten 20+ yards there if he kept it.
