Michigan vs. Wisconsin Basketball Predictions

At least 5-7 cheese jokes

I've got Michigan by at least 10.  The team has had a week off and I'm sure that they have been able to get in some great practices in preparation for the Badgers.  Go Blue!

My prediction: 73-72 Michigan

Top Scorers: Wagner, Livers and Brooks

Austin returns and helps lead the way over the Badgers.  

My dream scenario:  5 seconds left on the clock, Michigan down by 2.  Mike Smith drives hard to the basket.  Brad Davison attempts to draw a charge, but get called for a block.    The ball goes in as the clock expires.   Smith drains the free throw.   The basketball gods are verily satisfied.

Dickinson will face a lot of double teams, but Livers and Wagner will benefit and lead scoring.  Our D will be stifling, 38% shooting for the Skunks.

When is the game?

My prediction - M bench cheers louder than Wisky bench. 

I like this Michigan team. So many contributors on both sides of the ball. Playing as a team and have established an identity.
 

I’ll stop qualifying my statement and say Michigan wins. Go Blue. 

I vote for any prediction that has the game ending with Howard, Jackson, Nunez, Williams and whomever wrapping up the last 120 seconds.

RCMB blames the refs and says we'll be nothing once Dickinson goes pro and that Juwan will take an NBA job and then we'll be nothing and that Franz is overrated and that we'll be nothing as soon as he's gone and that Livers is a pro and Juwan is messing him up and we'll be no good as soon as he's gone.

I think Michigan by 10 - something like 75-65.  Wiscy is overrated and Michigan is underrated.  

Nervousness...because any time Wisconsin needs a critical basket, they're going to get it.  Assholes. 

The bling from Eli's new gold tooth blinds Davidson and he goes 0-13 for the night with 19 TO's.

Michigan wins 98-97, in a slugfest that causes us to go deep into our bench. CJ Baird wins it with a 43 foot 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left on the clock. Juwan jumps excitedly up and down, asking "Who is that guy?" Reporters interview the wrong guy after the game. CJ Baird immediately enters the transfer portal, feeling no love and thinking his marketability is at its peak.

Has there ever been a bigger asshole of an opponent that opposing fans wished more ill will upon than Brad Davidson?

Michigan is due for a bad game. Plus the Big Ten hates Michigan so Wisconsin will get all the calls. 

33-32 Michigan; because whenever Wisconsin is involved, all offense ceases to exist.

The homer in me says Michigan by 6, but I wouldn't be even remotely surprised to see Wisconsin come in and pull some bullshit that they seem to always pull against Michigan, like go 60% from three, or Brad Davison chucks up a hail mary from beyond half court that goes down and sends the game to overtime. Right after he "accidentally" hits Hunter Dickinson in the crotch. 

I don't know. Nothing would surprise me, really. I just hope Michigan wins. I think I hate Wisconsin more than any team in the Big Ten. Maybe even more than MSU. Too many bad memories of Bo Ryan teams ruining basketball games and ticky tack nonsense that somehow happens in this matchup that always seem to go Wisconsin's way. Wisconsin consistently seems to have a way to completely throw Michigan off its game. 

No idea if they are any good.  They haven't played anybody yet...Nebraska, Sparty, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana...None of them above .500 in conference, 10-24 combined record, plus, Wisky lost to one of them...
