When you don't attack and settle for bad shots because the other team is being more physical than you are.

It's not like we're 26% and we're taking and making shots that we want and they're just not going in. We're allowing them to push us around and into horrible shots...shots that are harder to make. Thus 26%.

We were a 4-seed last year and came *this* close to winning the damn thing. I'll take a 2-seed and a big angry chip on our shoulder, thank you very much.

They played better defense and McGary allowed us to win games like this while not hindering us in fact up-tempo games like most bigs do.

Definitely a wonderful accomplishment to get a 2-seed. But it doesn't really make us better.

We rely too much on the jumpshot and don't do the "little things" nearly as well as that team did.

We won more games this year, but the league was weaker. That said, if we get hot...we can't beat anyone in the country. But I haven't seen anything since the Illinois game (@ Illinois) and really even before that said "we're going to be dangerous in the tournament."

We've been struggling for awhile now...we just found ways to win games. But look at the Purdue game, the Indiana games, the games in the tournament. We're not playing great basketball and haven't been. We've just won a lot of close games - which is a lot better than losing close games. But it hasn't been dominating even though the B1G records say otherwise.

5/18 from 3 is a big part of the reason we're down so much. Take it back up to our season average (so 2-3 more threes) and it's a close game even with how bad we've played

Everyone thinks our defense is worse than last year. And it is, but to me it's mostly because the charge calls we got last year are now blocks. The big difference is that on the break, we don't convert like we did last year. In fact we pull it out and set up more often than not rather than going to the rack and scoring or drawing a foul. Trey was awesome on the break and that's the main difference I see.

As long as we keep fitting and don't let this linger into the tourney- I will be fine. A comeback would just be gravy/a miracle

Three straight shitty games, really. Just lucky the first three had been against inferior opponents. Almost wish they'd have lost sooner, the reality check was coming and I'd have rather it come against someone else. Well, not against Ohio State, either.

Defense has been an issue all season, its not going to go away. Usually we can shoot ourselves out of it but when you're hovering around 25% you're gonna have a bad time.
